There are multiple events in the BWC:
- The main event will be KING OF THE HILL to crown the BEST blader in the community.
- The DARK HORSEMAN is the invitational event that kicks off BWC on Friday night between all Regionals winners. Attend your local Regionals here.
- The IRON BLADER is an exciting feat of accumulating points through different WBO formats to test your every blader's skills and endurance.
- The first-ever age-group GENESIS tournaments for the enjoyment of our younger blading spirits & the first GENESIS TITANS championship for bladers under 12 years old!
- Anyone can enjoy the Spectator Experience with plenty of anime vendors, parents' activities, cosplay competitions, exhibitors, seminars, and workshops.

Need-to-Know Information

Open your account page on your mobile device (if possible) during registration to help us keep things quick.
2. Arrive On Time
You must arrive by the tournament start time to enter. We cannot add new players to an event once it begins. If you're running late, contact the host.
3. Stay Aware of Your Belongings
We do everything possible to ensure a safe environment, but can't be held responsible for lost or stolen goods. Keep your gear close by!
4. The Tournament Will Last At Least a Few Hours
This event is likely to last at least a few hours. If you can't commit to the entire tournament, you're welcome to come watch and play for fun instead!
5. Listen For Your Username To Be Called
Your name will be called when it's time for your next battle. If you need to leave early or take a break, tell a judge. Missing a match could mean disqualification!
6. Players Must Meet Regional Product Age Restrictions
All players in this event must meet the age restrictions on Beyblade products in their region. TAKARA-TOMY recommends Beyblade for ages 6+. Hasbro recommends Beyblade for ages 8+. Players under these ages may only participate with the permission of their parent/guardian.
7. Players Under 18 Must Be Accompanied by a Parent/Guardian
If you are under 18 years old, a parent/guardian must accompany you and be present for the duration of the event.
8. Contests, Raffles, Gambling, Betting, and Selling Are Prohibited
Advertising the sale of any product or service, as well as posting about any contest, raffle, gambling, or betting on this event page and conducting them at the event without approval by Fighting Spirits Inc. staff is prohibited. Please contact the Organized Play team if you require approval.

This can't be approved for ranked, it has a wbba 5g format for semi finals unless it got a pass through staff. Normally that isn't allowed unless again it was changed recently.

Changing to unranked, Allen is correct. This was originally explained as multiple single elimination wbo format events.
I was just curious if the list of participants was going to be a posted because I bought a ticket and I didn't see any names pop up on the page like normal.
Since 5G is now ranked doe that make this tournament ranked now?
For those who qualified for the Dark Horseman, these are some points to consider for the Domination Match type in the First Round(or Round of 16). I believe nobody wants to get eliminated early so here are some info about it.
1. Some players are now worried that a certain combo, or more specifically a driver like Bearing Drift is becoming overpowered and is a candidate for banning the part in tournaments. My solution is not to completely ban the part, but instead let the players decide if they want to deal with it or not by introducing a “Ban Phase” in the match. In this way, players will have to risk getting their bey banned in a match if they decided to go with a popular and powerful combo on Bearing Drift. With a Ban Phase, players will be encouraged to be more creative on their combo-making because for example if you put Bearing Drift on Cyclone, would you consider it as a threat and ban it? The effect of having a Ban Phase is that it will eventually balance out combos if players would want their bearing drifts to get through. Or unless they want to use their Bearing Drift combo as a decoy to get their opponents to ban it so that they can freely plan their combos on the other 4 beys. Take note that there is a counter-picking aspect of the match so some niche combos might see some action since it probably won’t get banned...or won’t it? These are just some scenarios that I can think of, and probably more combo building strategies will appear in the future. For me, the main feature of Burst series is the combo building and this format will bring out the best of it!
Why only one driver variant is allowed? One of the main features of this format is the Ban Phase and I want it to be impactful! If you will ban a combo with a Bearing Drift but your opponent still has a Metal Bearing Drift Combo, then the ban will somehow become irrelevant. I want this format to promote clever combo building and carefully planned combo synergies. That will not be possible if someone could just use a variant of a banned driver.
2. Why implement a spin changing rule? Personally, I believe it is long overdue that people need to experience this gimmick! Some consider it Overpowered, some don’t. Since you can ban 1 bey, it’s up to the player to decide if it is really a threat or not. Would you rather face a Bearing Drift Combo or a Spin Changing Bey?
Since you need to win with different beys in a Match, a combo only becomes overpowered if it can get multiple wins in a match (atleast in my opinion). Also, you can do a strategy where you can just let your opponent’s “star player” or best beyblade combo get a point as long as you don’t let his other combos get a score. It all boils down on how you built your lineup and how you plan your picks & ban.

This is recommended only for big events where all the experienced and pro bladers gather to test their skills against each other. Do we have to pick up our badge on Friday because I didn't qualify for the dark horseman so I was planning on only going Saturday and Sunday for the Koth and other tournaments.
