I think they did eventually release a black Vulcan, but it is not the case for all of Hasbro's Vulcan Horuseus.
Wasn't Vulcan Horuseus also released as a starter towards the end of Metal Masters? If so, then that's probably where you saw it had a black fusion wheel in Hasbro packaging. I may be wrong, but I keep thinking I saw a single pack metal masters release of Vulcan.
Read my post, it wasnt in metal masters packaging.
Hasbro released Vulcan Horuseus with the black painted Metal Wheels in Metal Masters starters and with the Toys R Us versions of the Beyblade: Metal Masters DS game.

The Vulcan Horuseus Metal Fury starters and Face-off sets come with unpainted Vulcan Metal Wheels.
Okay, thanks for clearing that up. I thought maybe I as losing my mind thinking I saw it as a metal masters starter haha.
To add on, in the initial release photos of Metal Fury packages, the Vulcan Starter was shown without paint, but in the end, was released with the black paint.
Ouch, you're right. I never saw the Metal Fury release in stores myself, but a quick check on eBay shows that both starters had black painted Metal Wheels. (Darn inaccurate product pictures!)

I remembered everyone having those, but complaining about how the clear wheel was an odd colour.
Im starting to collect beys as i loved them as a kid, what should i start a collection with and what should be my priorities. Finally do you know any good web resources for me as i watched the first series when it came out and im 17 now so it was a long time ago.
Starting a collection depends on if you want competitve stuff or stuff just for collection purposes. Either one would go in the purchase consultation thread.

As for the anime, check some of the resources in the Beyblade Anime & Manga forum.

Between ten and twenty dollars, reasonably.
Hi I am wondering how to enter the world tournement for beyblade I don't know how to do it do I have to fill out a fourm to get in plz let me know as soon as possible thx. From kmanda3rd!
Is there a difference between the Hasbro Gasher and TT Cancer? If so, which one is better? Also out of Cygnus, Hades and Cancer which has more synergy?
Im not sure about the first question. i dont belibe there is a dofferense. Anyways on the second question, what do you mean which has more synergy? Synergy involves two things together (the clear and meta wheel) so you'll have to post what metal wheels you want to know which clear wheel has the best synergy with each. A clear wheel alone doesn't have synergy with anything.
No, there is no difference between Cancer and Gasher.
Except the CANCER word not being engraved in the Hasbro version ...
Sorry I forgot to state WITH Phantom which of the 3 wheels is better.
All have a good synergy with Phantom, so it's personal opinion really.
I believe Cygnus is best, followed by Cancer. From the tests I've seen, Hades only works really well when Phantom is in Attack Mode (so for a Tornado Staller).
Well, I bought a launcher grip from eBay and didn't read the fine print. Turns out it was a rapidity POS and now that it broke after 1 rip I'm out 10 bucks. So what I'm asking is what launcher grip to get, and which one will last me the longest?

The 3 Segment Launcher Grip is surprisingly sturdy even if the regular Launcher Grip seems a lot more solid. I think the former is a lot more available these days anyway.

By the way, you should ask questions like that in the Purchase Consultation topic. People will be happy to answer you there.
eBay, amazon, or right here on the WBO would be the best places to look.
