It's kind of common sense that we can't be the only beings in the universe. Sure, none of the other planets in our solar system seem habitable, but that doesnt stop there being life forms that can stand those conditions and live.
As for the rest of the universe. We may never know what life exists out there, for all we know, there could be a parallel universe where they're doing near enough the exact things that we're currently doing.

Also, to think humans are the superior race is a very shallow way of mind. If we had no weapons and were forced to live out in the wilderness with next to nothing, I doubt we'd survive as well as most animals can in this day and age.

Anyway, rant over.
I was half tempted to just put "But the Universe?" "Screw the universe!" as my only line, but I opted for actually jotting my opinion down

How long will it take to find out weather or not?

People always pose questions about how life could survive in different conditions, but surely if we adapted to live in this climate, other beings could adapt to live in their own climates? Why should they randomly adapt to the earth's requirements?

Ugh, this was a long post again but yeah, I believe there's other life. It just doesn't make sense that there isn't.

The Problem is that life can only be held in very specific climates to survive.

In all seriousness I don't think anyone can really estimate when this will happen. Predictions like that can be so VERY wrong it wouldn't be worth trying.

I honestly have no idea. Though I will say I'm quite happy in my little bubble and I wish they'd stop trying to find out about things. I mean if there are hostile aliens why send out so many alerts and satelites? There could be friendly aliens or even nothing but I'd rather not take the risk. I think there's a lot more things on Earth that scientists should be focusing on instead at the moment. Like disease, global warming, etc.

I disagree with you first point, how can we progress as a whole if we don't ask questions. I think part of the problem with todays societies is a majority do not question much, they are fine not knowing more than their daily routine. even with 24hour news, many are in the dark about world events.

Earth is prolly like a speck of dust in our planet compared to the universe. There are so many planets and we have found a few similair to Earth and that is just in our universe. And i doubt the conditions for aliens to live in will be identical to ours. Creatures evolve and adapt to the world around them.

I bet all my money there is another living life force somewhere else.

But IMO i would rather not know about it, after watching all these movies, i have a feeling aliens are far superior than us. Earth is still considered an early planet.

There's that bit in Men in Black, was it that or Men in Black 2? Either way, it zooms out tons and tons until it shows the universe is in some alien kid's marble he's playing with. It's AMAZING.
