As I know the Trans driver has bad locking too.
When it's in Attack mode it can change to mid-way.
Is this true? Does it change mid-battle?

If it scrapes at too extreme of an angle (as in, mislaunch bad) then yes

My Hasbro Trans Performance Tip doesn't even lock anymore. Right when it hits the ground, it changes to Stamina mode
