[Answered]  Right launcher for Lightning L Drago

Hi guys,

First of all. I'm new. If I placed this in the wrong subforum please feel free to put it in the right forum.

I have a 6 year old son who's completely hooked by these toys. So on Aliexpress I have purchased this 'Lightning L Drago' with a launcher. So far so good. But the problem is this Chinese supplier. The launcher is really carp. It 'plastic fantastic' and it got broken after a few spins.

I myself live in the Netherlands and from what I understood (give me a break, i'm a father and not into these toys ;;) these toys were a hype like 10 years ago.  So there aren't many places to buy these  toys. *BESIDES* my son has a few blades and the launcher (purchased here in the Netherlands) works perfectly on them. But *NOT* on L Drago.

This leaves me with a problem as this Lightning L Drago is really his favorite blade.

Questions :

1. Are there specific launchers which only can be used for this Blade?
2. If yes, which launcher should I purchase?
3. If yes, where can I purchase this one and which one do you guys recommend?
4. If no, How come this 'Lightning L Drago' doesn't fit on the launcher purchased here in the Netherlands? Are there different blades/launchers per country?

Thanks for reading this and the comments.

Cheers :)
You see, l drago is a beyblade which spins anti clockwise ,but all others spin clockwise
So ,you will need a different launcher for different spin direction
So which one would you recommend? Have you got a specific launcher which is good for L Drago and isn't like Chinese quality?

Does he like the launchers with the ripcords or with the string?

I don't know. I think he does not care. He only wants L Drago to spin. Cause as you know L Drago is the best out there?. We have ones with ripcords. Can you show an example with the string?

I am also a father. My son is 7 and he started when he was six. I am now knee deep in this stuff because of him. It is a hobby that we share. This seller I have used before. Still out of China but everything I have bought from them so far has been good. And they sell Takara Tomy (original maker) not knock offs.

Once you get this launcher try playing with you son. Check out the interaction between a Left spinning (L Drago) and a right spinning top. You will see why this is a deeper game than what is seems on the surface. Try launching one soft and one hard and watch the two opposite spinning tops equalize. There is a lot of physics and material science to be taught to your son through this game of spinning tops.

Hi Shindog,

Thanks for the reply. I've just purchased the one you recommended. Hopefully it will arrive in a few weeks. I also like the physics of this, and the game in general. We play this on a regular basis. Looking forward to play the game with a left spinner and to see what that brings Smile

I'm not so deep yet into the blades etc, but is L Drago the only left spinning blade?

Cheers.

All beys could left spin in Plastics. Right too(except 4 layer system)
MFB Saw L Drago series ( 7 Total I guess) ronin dragoon and 2 dual spins.
BURST system is on going and has 7 currently
