So I've had a question recently. More weight on a beyblade layer or forge disc would definitely increase the beybalde's inertia, which can increase spin time and perhaps life-after-death. But, more weight means that the performance tip will be pressed against the stadium floor harder, creating more friction, which can increase ring out risk, but will also decrease the spin time of the bey and increase burst risk. More weight and less weight both seem to have an advantage and disadvantage when it comes to spin time. So is more wight really increasing stamina, or is a light bey having more stamina? And how much weight is too little or too much? I would really appreciate if anybody could help me out!

Well it's always better to be heavier than lighter for the K.O resistance especially now since the Beys that you're gonna be up against have Extreme attack like Rage but spin time mostly depends in where the weight is if its in the middle you're gonna be unbalanced and have bad stamina and slow movements if it's on the outside you will be stable and mostly stationary hope that clears some thing's up

Yeah it helps! But I don't understand how central weight makes a bey stable, cuz if weight is towards the center, the centre of gravity of the bey will be closer to being right above the performance tip, which acts as the base, so wouldn't it get more stable? The outward weight would create a flywheel effect to increase spin time as there would be more rotational inertia generated as its along the perimeter, if I'm not wrong

hmm did you make a typo t the start or am I just stupid? because I can't understand central weight makes a Bey unstable so it doesn't spin as long Wheight towards the outside will make it more stable and spin longer please tell me if I just read it wrong

No from what I've gathered for the Beyblade Wiki and YouTube, outward weight means that the beyblade will have more inertia around the perimeter, which can resist it from slowing down, and thus spins longer. Central weight does have inertia, but not around the perimeter, so it's not as effective for spin time. Central weight will increase spin velocity but not spin time (in other would spins faster but slows down faster too)

Oh so that's what you meant i thought you meant just spin time but the speed of the spin is mostly determined by where the weight is its by the launcher and how you launch
If the rotational velocity is increased by central weight, and the centre of mass is closer to the base (the tip), it should get more stable right?

The reason why you don't want your beys Wheight to be in the middle and low is because it's gonna try to rotate around the driver and try to go to the side and its gonna be very unstable
