The parts that are good in the set are:
Drain Fafnir Layer (Spin Equalization)
Ark Bahamut Layer (Left Spin Defense)
Deep Chaos Layer (Pure Stamina)
7 Disk (great for everything)
4 Disk (good for everything)
1 Disk (good for Attack)
2 Disk (decent for anything)
Star Frame (good for everything)
Meteor Frame (great for Attack)
Bump Frame (great for Attack and Defense)
Bearing Driver (great for opposite spin match-ups with Ark Bahamut)
Atomic Driver (great for Stamina and Defense, also Stationary Attack)
Zephyr Driver (great for Mobile Stamina and decent for mobile Attack)
Two Metal God Chips (great for Defense and Attack)
I recently started and settled on the God Customize Set as my first purchase, and the more I look into it, the happier I am with my choice. It's a winning starter kit, and people who know their stuff seem to highly recommend it. There are many competitive parts, some of which you can only get in this set.
$50 CAD is a great deal if legit. Cheapest I've found it lately is $50 USD, so you found a better deal. I paid more than either, and I'm still happy.
Many Japanese God beys in general go for about $20 USD or so on their own at their cheapest (that I've seen), so to get such a great set of four for $50 in either currency is a good deal in my book.
Also, check the WBO review:
I'd say the one thing off with the review is what it says about Ark Bahamut, which has better proven its worth. Take a look here in the winning combinations thread (and you can see other parts from GCS here, too, if you poke around).
