As far as I know, disks are cross compatible, but how does this do on tournaments? How would a judge know if I am using A TakaraTomy disk with Hasbro pieces?

At a Hasbro Format Tournament you can only use a Takara Tomy Disc that has a hasbro counterpart. So if you use Valtryek Quarter Accel you’ll be fine, but if you use Valtryek 4Glaive Accel you’ll be asked to change your disc. At a Burst format tournament(Hasbro and Takara) You can use Hasbro layers and what ever Takara Disc you’d like.
