I kinda doubt it, I honestly don’t think weight of a disc is everything to it.

Basically yes. There's small decision variants based on layer x disc balance but either than that it's basically the heaviest disk is your go to.
In the early metagame, sometimes heavier weight can create bad Burst resistance
But now with absurdly heavy Layers, there's pretty much no drawback to using the heaviest possible Disk

What about something like the 5 disk? Decent weight, but good for Burst resistance.

5 is filler; usually people only use it in deck as 3rd best choice but 10 will most likely take the spot for 3rd or even higher.
