I don't talk about it much, but I am a HUGE music lover, and I watch a lot of anime. It's only natural that I have grown an appreciation for the music in anime.

I love a lot of anime and music...but there are two people who are probably my favorite composers in all of anime, and maybe even the world

Yoko Kanno - Cowboy Bebop, Zankyou no Terror, GitS SAC, Darker than Black
Yuki Kajiura - Tsubasa Chronicle, Madoka Magica, SAO, Fate/Zero

Kanno's work on Darker than Black Season 1 and Cowboy Bebop is probably her best stuff. I can't remember ever disliking anything she's done, save for DtB's second season, which contributes to how bad of a sequel that was...

Yuki Kajiura, for those that don't know, is a musical genius, like Yoko. Their musical inclinations couldn't be more different though; Yuki focuses on more orchestral and magical sounding pieces. Yuki also has a talent for blowing it all away with darker/more sinister themes. Her best examples lie in Tsubasa and Madoka.

Now I'm just gotta slap some music that I like in a spoiler. I am sure I am a minority when it comes to considering composers

That really only discusses Theme Songs...I went through that old thread, and I have even posted in it before. No real discussion about other tracks from the shows.

I saved the relevant bits of the OP to a word document. If the mods want to delete this I have no problem posting in the other thread.
