Anything goes except for the following:

-Fake bey parts
-Beys that attack with metal Vs. Plastic gen beys
-Alternate brand compatability
-broken parts

What brand is this thread for? 

Both Takara Tomy and Hasbro!

Disclaimer: This does not count for the competativness of a certain part/parts since the stadium tested in may be a stadium not allowed for tourney play. This is for fun and for fun only!

This sounds like fun. Personally, I like the idea of taking the under utilized beys/parts, and turning them into something a little more competitive. I know you mentioned that it's not meant to be super competitive. More semi-casual testing, if that's cool to post here too. =)

Don't open a thread for testing combos without testing any combos. People can use other threads for this.
Don't open a thread for testing combos "in general". Specify a specific part or layer at least.
