A Beginners' Guide to the WBO

With the transition to the mentors' circle, I thought something like this could be very valuable, I intend for it to read almost like an article, so I've avoided bolding a ton of things and what not.

Hi everyone, welcome to our beginners' guide to the WBO. This thread aims to congregate links to every thread that would help acclimate new nembers to the WBO, initiate them into the competitive scene and help all of them avoid getting their threads closed or warned.
Note: Before reading this make sure to read Kai-V's welcome message!

First things first, before you post anywhere else on the WBO it would make a lot of sense for you to post an introduction thread telling a little about yourself and the general area where you live. This offers you a number of advantages, including quick tips from veteran members of the WBO and the opportunity to find out if there's any other bladers in your area!

Other things of use in this forum include:
The Going Away/Coming Back Topic where you can notify people if you won't be on the site for a while or if you're coming back from a hiatus!

Up next, you're going to want to learn how to make other posts from Th!nk's wonderful guide:

After that, it's time to start learning the ins and outs of the site, which include:

and The lingo that we all use: http://worldbeyblade.org/Thread-WBO-Glos...t=glossary

If you think something else should be in this, just say so!
What I get from this thread is that we need to make the introduction to new users a lot simpler. :')

Good to have a list of all the most important threads, though!

Boldface is an appropriate mark of emphasis, as are italics. Aligning your text in at the center on the other hand is terrible for readability in the current case.

Using this code would also help for readability.
Code:

This is pretty close to what I did a couple years ago. The thread in my signature.
@[Dark_Mousy] My bad, I'd forgotten about that since it had been so long since anyone had posted in it. Would you like me to add a link to it in the OP? I do however think that this one is a little more extensive.
