If coming from New Jersey (Newark, Harrison, Jersey City, and Hoboken) via the NJ PATH, get off 33rd St. and take the B or D trains (only D trains on Weekends).
From Midtown East:
The local train station on the East side is at East 59th St and 5th Ave, near the Apple Store and the F.A.O. Shwarz. It is farther than the Midtown West stop. Ideal for players coming from Brooklyn, Queens, and Chinatown.

Registration is from 11:45 to 12:20 with the official start time being 12:35. It is recommended that you be there on time, if not earlier, to avoid lateness and complications. After 12:20, there will be no more registrations and Entrants that arrive later than 12:30 cannot enter. Once you're late, you cannot participate in the tournament. Please bear this in mind and come on time.

Entrance Fees:
One-time entrance fee is 5$ or 10$ gets you a Blader Passport which is valid for 365 days after purchase. Or, if you already have a Passport, you're all set.

Format:
Depends on the amount of entries.

Prizes:
To be determined...
  • If you have a BB-10 and wish to donate it for the tournament, it will be very much appreciated. The more BB-10s, the better. Please mark which is yours to avoid thefts and misplacements.
  • Please, PLEASE, PLEASE keep a hold on each and every part you own. We'd like to avoid thefts of all types, from Beyblades to game systems and laptops. Keep all your personal belongings close to your person at all times; do not leave them hanging around, as they are YOUR responsibility, and the tournament staff cannot be held liable for thefts.
  • There are concession stands located around the playground, but Kaji Motomiya recommends that you bring your own refreshments to save a bit from the overpriced drinks and food. There are restaurants located around Central Park after your time at the tournament is over.
  • Please, no "maybes". You're either going or you're not. We will not list you if you're "possibly", "probably", or "maybe" going. We'd like a firm and direct "yes" or "no" answer.

After The Tournament
there will be a strict 12 entrant (first come first serve) ZeroG Tournament. If you would like to enter, please make sure you can stay for a little while longer.

Not necessarily they try to do it once a month but next month school would be starting and it might take a while.

Man hope theres one soon
dude that tournament was awesome i won two in a row on first try then one of the people cheated me by switching their beys tip from es to r2f and i lost
And this wasn't caught? I was watching pretty closely and I didn't see any on the fly changes. Was the judge notified? Blind aquisitions can be harmful. Careful
yeah well i did but i didnt want to speak up because he was a judge and he might hold a grudge against me and say i cheated instead of him
in between the first match was when he switched the tips
and also when i hit his bey at the beginning of the battle and made it slow instead of it spiraling he would call i mislaunch and one more thing he launched his bey like two seconds after i did and my dad has a video to prove it
heres the video i am the one with the colorful grip
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qjspHHMmuuE&feature=plcp
also his es was worn so thats how he was spiraling in round one
no its r2f wasn't working so he took off the dirt that had
Don't look like he (Sniper) switched tips.
I saw no Bottom change at all, I have no idea what you were talking about on that subject, but those "mislaunch" calls are completely illegal, and even if he had wanted to invoke the Reshoot Clause, it can only be done once in a match, and twice in the whole tournament. Who is that person ?

EDIT : Sniper ? Seriously ? You do not know that there is no such thing as a "mislaunch" already ?
I realized that was fishy but I didn't take that into consideration (he was an experienced judge).
Who judged that battle?
I also clearly told him that there is no such thing as a mislaunch in one of his Event Proposals ... It was one of the conditions/things he had to know in order to be allowed to post the official topic for that tournament.
i think it was pruebame

From the looks of the battle an ES does not move around so much, and sniper keeps his tips in his box, i didn't see him reach into the box and take it out, and any R2F can move in circles but when launched correctly you can do the sliding shoot witch was how he beat you, and he was scraping dirt of the tip.

Ryuga:Can't be. Unless he likes to talk about himself in third person.

This story about changing tips should really just be forgotten and ignored now : he had no Tool and it is very difficult to remove and add Bottoms with your own fingers.

The real issue is that legit battles were interrupted for illegal "mislaunch" calls.
Did anyone else experience or remember seeing those illegal mislaunches in other BeyBattles during the day? Who else faced Sniper that day?

I'm glad we have the video.

We will sort this out with the full set of results and communicate the results at the time the tournament is processed.

If anything else like this happened with any of the players, it would be good to know now...
woah woah calm down those calls were for the fault of my launcher. due to the weight of my synchronized combo its gears would skip giving poor launch speed
If it is your launcher's fault and it skipped, it's called a "Re-Shoot Clause", not a "Mislaunch". Also, according to the video, it looks like you called a "Mislaunch" (Which is a Re-Shoot) twice in one match, which isn't legal either.
(I should've stayed around for the tournament and judged...)
I'm pretty sure it was confusion Sniper isn't like that
Well the whole tip part
Even if he forgot that he did a Re-shoot twice in the match, (assuming he knew that you can only re-shoot once in a match, but didn't know it was even called a Re-Shoot.) It would still be illegal, and since the tournament is already over, he would have to take the Auto-Loss for that match.
I know he knows what a re-shoot claws is and that you can use 2 per tourney he probably thought you can use 2 in one match .

Rule Book
Quote:The Blader may only invoke the Reshoot Clause once per BeyBattle, and a maximum of twice during an event.

Sniper has been here long enough to be familiar with the rules by now ...
