Well after a year of a tournament dead Illinois community, we've finally managed to organise a tournament! All the information is down below!

Where: Oak Park, Niles, Illinois. Address: 7700 Lee street.
In the middle of the grounds of the park there is a large concrete platform. Blankets will be provided for battles, but feel free to bring your own.
When: August 19th, registration 1:00 pm to 1:45 pm. Tournament begins at 1:45.
Format: BB-10, Round robin (tournament format subject to change based off the number of participants)

Attendees:

Confirmed:
Ultramarine (host, judge)
Shining God MS (co-host, judge)
Bularieleone
Bularieleone D
Bularieleone Q
Trashcan56
Shining God MS' friend
Bularieleone's friends' cousin

Maybe:
Dropkick

If there is enough interest, after the tournament we will have either an unofficial tag team tournament or an unofficial plastics tournament.

Bladers without accounts will be given them at the tournament.

There will be lots of prizes, so just bring your A game and try your hardest!

Also, please please keep an eye on your parts at all times as at the last three tournaments I went to, parts were stolen. You yourself are responsible for stolen parts, we are not.

Any questions should be directed to me.

Need-to-Know Information

1. During Registration, Open Your Account Page

Open your account page on your mobile device (if possible) during registration to help us keep things quick.

2. Arrive On Time

You must arrive by the tournament start time to enter. We cannot add new players to an event once it begins. If you're running late, contact the host.

3. Stay Aware of Your Belongings

We do everything possible to ensure a safe environment, but can't be held responsible for lost or stolen goods. Keep your gear close by!

4. The Tournament Will Last At Least a Few Hours

This event is likely to last at least a few hours. If you can't commit to the entire tournament, you're welcome to come watch and play for fun instead!

5. Listen For Your Username To Be Called

Your name will be called when it's time for your next battle. If you need to leave early or take a break, tell a judge. Missing a match could mean disqualification!

Put me down as a "Maybe". Don't know if I could come since I'm in Ohio, though. I'll see.
Shining God MS told me to post here to let you guys know, I'm a 40% maybe for this tournament, if all goes right, then I'll be there Smile
Really? Cool! Hope to see you both there!
Wait? The 19th. ugh, my first day of school. Sorry guys but I won't be able to make this at all.
That sucks Uncertain well, LMAO, please bring Heaven Kerbecs or any other friends if you can, please!
I'm getting StraightEdge and asking if he can halp me have a tournament in Ohio! Somewhere between Columbus and Kettering. We would have to get more bladers from Ohio and it seems like many of the ones on the map have been offline for years. There are others that aren't on the map. I'll just have to make a thread or something Smile
Can you get StraightEdge and see if he can come to this tournament?
Shining God MS, do you have a good video camera? Kai-V asked us to video tape some battles.
I have an Iphone Tongue_out it has a good camera.
I think that would work alright.
Great! I'll PM LMAO and see if he asked his dad or not.
Sorry my PM's weren't working for some reason, I've already asked him and he gave me a maybe, so I'm not sure yet, and please put HeavenKerbecs on the possible list as well!

Also, I'll try to get an ad for you guys to go up online to help with your attendance Smile
I would have wanted an advertisement but Ultramarine wants just 8 confirmed attendees. So we are depending on your answer ASAP, and I suggest you leave Saturday if youre gonna come because the tournament starts at 2:00!
How are you guys doing a tournament on a Monday? Don't many of the Chicago bladers have school?

I mean, its great that you guys are having another tournament, but don't you think you'd be able to get more attendees if it was on a Sunday or Saturday?
We would've done it on the 18th, but there is a blader who is bringing like half of the bladers on the list and he's coming back from California the 18th so... Uncertain and plus... no offense, why are you posting something that's sorta off topic?

It was originally gonna be on Saturday or Sunday, but more people could come on Monday. And most people I know start the 21st.
I don't see how its off topic. It relates to the tournament.

Bularieleone I'm guessing? That is pretty funny that he's bringing a large bit of the tournament, lol!

EDIT: @Ultramarine: Oh. Well, I start the 19th.

Anyways, I should probably head out of this thread, because all I can really do is derail it. :\
We would've had more but Ultramarine just wanted 8 confirmed attendees.
That's not true, I just didn't want 15-20 on my first tournament as a host.
Shinobu, would you be able to make it in October for my Birthday Bash if this tournament goes well?
No. I'm 10 hours away lol.

The only time I'd ever be at an Illinois tourney would be if I was on vacation there the week of a tournament.
Of course you hold this tournement right after I get back from Illinois. XD
Good luck at the tournement to the people that are going though
Why dont you try heading down here?
Can't because Im busy at the time of the tournament.
