What are the level chips? I saw someone mention them in an earlier part of the thread

They're the Chouzetsu version of God Chips, I guess. I think you shove them into that diamond shaped hole and they hug the notches near where the launcher fits in. All we have is this image at the moment.

I'm pretty sure they would go underneath the layer? No way would it go on top.

0 is a single gram more than 7 in weight
that’s the difference of a MGC...

no big deal.

and no surprise metal super-z layers are heavier, that’s the evolution (of the entire game)
unless a single part breaks the entire game, i wouldn’t expect any bans

and we all know weight it not the sole determinant of a battle
otherwise planet and tower drivers would be more competitive

Well i was saying that we could use heavier core disks from God beys instead of those from Cho Z
11 is 18g(approx) and 12 is 16g(approx)

They aren't actually God abilities from what I can tell, but its what the layer shape can do, like Forneus can deflect attacks with its metal wings that are sloped.

Everybody was right about the level chips. In some unboxings where you can see the undersides of the layers you can see grooves for where you're supposed to place them.

I don't think the discs being light is something to be upset about? We've only had 2 new ones release so far so its not that all of the new ones will be light.

Also, if the made the discs heavier as well, then the meta would be dominated by Super Z, tbh doing this was a pretty good way of keeping Burst God relevant

Talking about BBS, what's wrong with that? It always used to be like this, the main example is mfb vs zero g's synchrome combos (or metal fusion-masters beys vs 4ds themselves). Mfb AND 99% OF 4D BEYS became pretty useless after 0g's releases, only flash can battle against stunning combos using wyvang wyvang 165 r2f for example. So, what i mean is that there should be a split for the burst series: standard and limited (from single layers to god/evolution ones) category. Of course, i won't force anybody to agree with me. I just expressed MY STRICTLY PERSONAL OPINION, that's it...

Thanks to Leo Burst, we now know what the Level Chip does. It's used to make the Layers more balanced and can give them a little nore weight. So they intentionally made the Layers unbalanced to get people to get a Level Chip, which apparently can be obtained at tournaments as far as we know.
