Some users on here may know about my other 3D printing ventures, particularly remastering the HMS generation.
Though I only discovered the Burst format ~6months ago (poor marketing in the UK) I get quite a number of requests to make parts for the system so recently got hold of some Burst Beys to measure them up.
To find official products in the UK that were as new or sensibly priced proved more difficult than I thought, I also tried some of the sub £5 knock offs via Amazon which were pretty funny how poorly made they are. The biggest thing with even the official products I found was the tolerancing and fit of the overall assembly was quite sloppy so that brings me on to this path of making Burst parts to go on my website.
A good few hours in and here's a CAD image of Driger S's Driver with some small tweaks to the tolerancing and fit of the parts so they can be 3D printed. Doing this has made me quite keen to see how I can improve the Burst parts using the knowledge I have from my other projects.
