i guess the team at takara tomy didn't get the memo that following a "z" series with a "gt" series does not bode well :v

This tournament is being hosted by TrainiacJ. If you have any questions about the event, feel free to PM us or post in the thread and we'll be happy to help!
Important Advice:
Please keep your personal belongings with you or in a safe place while at the tournament. If you see any personal items left around with no apparent owner, please hand it in to a judge, so we can return it to its rightful owner. Your cooperation is much appreciated.
If you need to go to the restroom, please tell a judge beforehand so that we can hold your match and it won't be counted as your forfeit. If you need to leave the tournament altogether, tell a judge before you go so we can deal with your matches accordingly.
Have your Account page open during registration. Participants being registered to the tournament must login to their accounts on any device able to access the profile page prior to registration in order to prove they are the account owner and to ensure their username is accurately transcribed. Alternatively, you can bring a printed copy of your account page to show the tournament host during registration.
Remember to turn up on time. If you arrive later than 12:10pm, your place will be forfeit and you will not be able to participate. If you know you'll be late, please let us know via PM or a post in-thread!

You can read the rules on the site to find your own answer.
Under "Legal Equipment" it reads "Only official Beyblade Burst products produced by Hasbro and Takara-Tomy can be used."
You cannot use your fake launcher in a tournament setting. And the Beyblades you bring ought to be inspected carefully by judges.

There are many potential reasons for these rules. Non-TT and Non-Hasbro Launchers might be modified in ways that could give the launcher an advantage, say extra speed or something like that.
Modified TT and Hasbro launchers are Also banned.
"Foreign Substances & Modification: Beyblade and launcher parts cannot be painted, coated, or physically modified in any way that affects their performance except in the methods explicitly outlined in the green section below . Bladers who intentionally modify the performance illegally of their equipment will be disqualified and potentially banned from future WBO events."
You should read and understand the rules carefully. You don't have to like what they say, but at WBO events you have to abide by those rules.
Don't complain about the rules in this tournament thread, complain about them in the https://worldbeyblade.org/Thread-WBO-Org...Discussion thread.

You totally did say it was fake. And you didn't buy it either, so you really can't confirm whether or not it's fake or real. But it kind of looks like it's fake and you know it.
What you can do is go to thread thread for discussion of fakes, https://worldbeyblade.org/Thread-theflig...-searching , check that and see if you can figure if it's fake yourself, or upload a picture of it in that thread and ask if it's fake. Use the Previous Post button next to Post Reply so you can attach a picture.

We are considering driving in from Louisiana for this tournament this weekend since our other plans were cancelled. Before we decide, I see that the weather is not supposed to be good. I would hate to drive over if this is cancelled because of weather. Will it be under some sort of pavilion or covered space? Please let me know. Thanks.
It will be in a hangar so you’ll be inside.

Awesome. We will make the trip over. One more question. Do I need to register him under this account or create an account for him and register him under the new one?

1 player=1 account
So yes you can, UNLESS… you’re playing too!

I will never lament how far away a regional tournament is from me ever again. Thank you for supporting your son and taking his hobbies seriously. I hope you all have a wonderful time at the tournament.
