Regents Rumble
In the same style as SummerSmash, (for those of you that managed to attend) we'll be running a tournament on September 12th in Regents Park.
The location will also be the same, Ready Money Drinking Fountain.
For those of you that had any trouble finding it last time, PM us the day before the event, and we'll provide you wth a mobile numbe so you can call us for directions if necessary.
The tournament style will be block round robin, since this worked well at the last event.
The meeting time will be 12pm, and the tournament should start at 1pm.
The main tournament will be MFB only, but free battles will allow plastic and HMS as usual.
Items we'd recomend for you to bring would include food and drink for yourself, a hooded coat or jacket in case of rain, or suntan lotion if the day seems particularly hot.
We'd also rcomend that if you do intend to take part in the tournament, then bring your own bey.
This may sound like an obvious suggestion, but in the past people have come without, expecting to borrow other peoples.
This would not be a problem, but more than half the blades that have been leant to people have either come back damaged from improper use, or not come back at all.
Obviously this has mde people a lot more reluctant to lend out their own beys.
The entry fee will be the same as usual, free with a blader passport (£6 to buy), or £3 otherwise.
We hope you'll be interested in this tournament, and enjoy it as you have done with previous tournaments.

At this rate, there isn't anywhere near enough people for a tournament, and for 5 people, this doesn't really seem like a worthwhile event to hold...
I'm sorry to say it, but it might be worth postponing this to a later date.
this is quite depressing. how much promotion was there?
basically, this is the situation in my eyes:
beyblade is dead to the world, particularly england, so we need to draw in new players.
there needs to be demo's going on, the chance for newbies to come empty handed and be alble to play, getting them hooked and wanted to buy their own. basically only untill we actually get more bladers in england than you can count with your fingers is it actually worth setting up a tournement.

You quite obviously don't know what the carp you're talking about.
SummerSmash did really well, as did the Spinoff tournament before it.
More than anything, this has been delayed due to time constraints, we have more than enough bladers to hold a 20+ attending event, we just need to find a time when the optimum number of members can attend.
Last time I checked people still had the weekends to do things, it doesn't have to be in a holiday.
It's a shame this tournament has been postponed but at least it isn't cancelled. I hope it goes ahead and I wish the people organising it luck when finding another date; hopefully most people will be able to make whatever you decide.
From what you have said, it seems you intend to attend the event on this particular day you refer to. Is it really of such significance as to warrant such a proclaimation?
Theflightyellz, what do you mean by "every UK Blader's attitude?" Is everyone making excuses or backing out when they said they would go?
