So Lui will be using rage

ok I guess, they will probably after a while evolve their beys just like in god
where Valt started with a dual layer but after getting totally trashed , evolved his bey

I just hope Lui puts on a fight

It's a filler, but that was kind of expected.

"Fillers refer to episodes that are not from the original source and provide no development to the main story" This was not in the manga doesn't really provide any development. It's not like Lui has a new bey, and he won't gain anything substantial from this since it's the first episode.

This is wrong. Filler is something that doesn’t correlate with the main story it doesn’t necessarily have to be in the manga to be canon (there’s a thing known as anime canon)

"What does a filler mean in anime? ... “Filler” refers to a story in an Anime that was not in the Manga. These are created as a result of Anime production sometimes outpaces the Manga. Fillers don't continue the story and are typically both visually and narratively of lower quality."

"Filler episodes are entries in a generally continuous serial that are unrelated to the main plot, don't significantly alter the relations between the characters, and generally serve only to take up space." This won't do anything for the characters. Lui and other Legends have already taken interest in Bell, and it's not like he's making allies or rivals.

The general definition of filler has nothing to do with manga and as a matter of fact, isn’t a concept specific to any type of story media. Also, the introduction episode of the series is inevitably going to be filler to an extent.

And hopefully Valt takes him down, for good.

The rematch we all want, but won't get in a million years.

I'm still kinda confused on why they call Lui the 'Absolute Champion' throughout the episode. Not sure what it's supposed to imply or if it's just supposed to be a cool title.

Why not?
Why are you guys so pressed? Valt can easily defeat Lui, they just haven't had a 1 on 1 match yet. That's like saying "Well technically Toko could beat Valt, but we don't know since we haven't seen them fight".

He can't easily defeat Lui, that's a overstatement. Lui vrs Valt, Valt will win, but with at least, Med diffucullty.

I don't want a protag to defeat Lui, but by the looks of it, Belial is prob gonna win. But you never know.
Tbh, I don't mind if Valt stays without a definite win over Lui. He has proven himself to be stronger than Lui to an extent, but Lui ain't no slouch and he can still keep up with Valt for the most part. Having a straight up 1v1 probably wouldn't do much for the story at this point, and would kinda ruin the dynamic we got going here. Just my opinion tho.
