Uh, no I’m not. I don’t have aH4 or a Hasbro Octa.

I'm talking about the other tests done with parts you have.
Like the first Z Achilles tests we did.

Not surprised since Zone has the same shape as Zwei.

All these tests of requiem losing to Longinus is only because requiem is in left spin. It’s dual spin if you just switch it to right it would win more

Left spin Requiem was dominated by Z Achilles on Quick’. I can do the test with Requiem in left spin, but I have a feeling it won’t do much better.

Spriggan Requiem (Left Spin) 0 Revolve (Odd) Vs. Deep Chaos 0 Revolve (Even). I did ten rounds.

Results:

Spriggan Requiem: 10% (1 OS)

Deep Chaos: 90% (9 OS’)

Well yeah, but as you can see Mobius is weak in same spin, so Spriggan Requiem on Mobius would not be much of a problem to counter.

Mobius has a decent attack potential.

Mobius has a decent attack potential.

Even so, Spriggan Requiem’s attack is horrible. At best you can stall with Mobius in same spin, but if it goes up against another stalling combo or an attack combo, it’s done for.

You dont have to use Spriggan Requiem, you can an attack layer. It will attack in same opposite, and equalize in opposite spin.

Yeah, but my point is that Spriggan Requiem on Mobius is not OP.

Spriggan Requiem (Left Spin) 0Cross Keep’ (Soft Launch) Vs. Z Achilles 00Expand Quick’ (Sliding Shoot). I did ten rounds.

Results:

Spriggan Requiem: 90% (6 OS’ 3 KO’s)

Z Achilles: 10% (1 KO)

Spriggan Requiem (Left Spin) 0Cross Keep’ (Regular Launch) Vs. Bloody Longinus 00Expand Quick’ (Sliding Shoot). I did ten rounds.

Results:

Spriggan Requiem: 50% (3 KO’s 2 OS’)

Bloody Longinus: 50% (4 OS’ 1 KO)

I feel in same spin Spriggan Requiem left spin gets thrown around enough to where it gets outspun. You can see in a couple rounds the hits were not hard enough and it was able to outspin Bloosy Longinus. Just wanted to say this because I did not want to be accused of launching Spriggan Requiem too soft.

RE: Spriggan Requiem Testing And Discussion [Limited Format] - AirKingNeo - Sep. 30, 2020

One of the main issues with these tests I've seen in this thread is none of it is focused. One of the main issues has been putting Atomic vs Ultimate Reboot in opposite spin matchups, which we all know Ul wins by LAD, or other matchups where the already known LAD matchup will obviously win. Also unsure why Bearing is being used when Bearing is too weak in same spin and you can get good LAD using Destroy' instead, which isn't happening. I also just really doubt Accel' winning an opposite spin matchup against Bearing.

So here's my testing which is focused on comparing Requiem Left-Spin (which will be how the layer is used competitive if Requiem was unbanned, as being left spin for a defensive layer is just an inherit advantage) to Drain Fafnir and Geist Fafnir, which are the other left spin options.

Same Spin Stamina Test

Spriggan Requiem (Left Spin).Outer.Orbit vs Drain Fafnir.Outer.Orbit
(Simultaneous launching)
Sr.outer.O: 9 wins (9 OS)
dF.outer.O: 1 win (1 OS)
Ties: 0

Spriggan Requiem (Left Spin).Outer.Orbit vs Geist Fafnir.Outer.Orbit
(Simultaneous launching)
Sr.outer.O: 10 wins (10 OS)
gF.outer.O: 0 wins
Ties: 2
Notes: Not sure how 2 ties happens when dF beats gF in same spin.

Opposite Spin Test

Spriggan Requiem (Left Spin).Outer.Destroy/Destroy' vs Twin Nemesis.Outer.Destroy'/Destroy
(Simultaneous launching)
Sr.outer.O: 9 wins (9 OS)
tN.outer.O: 1 win (1 OS)
Ties: 0
Notes: Not really sure what layer is the standard for LAD in right spin. But I know that tN will see use on Ds', so this would show how Sr vs tN both on Ds' would go.

Vs Left Attack (Using Atomic)
(I do not own Jolt' so I used Jolt instead.)

Spriggan Requiem (Left Spin).00Proof.Atomic vs Nightmare Longinus.Angle.Jolt
(nL launched second)
Sr.00P.At: 5 wins (5 OS)
nL.angle.Jl: 5 wins (4 KO, 1 BF)
Ties: 0
Notes: was golden launching (soft, angled launched) to reduce burst risk on Requiem.

Drain Fafnir.00Proof.Atomic vs Nightmare Longinus.Angle.Jolt
(nL launched second)
dF.00P.At: 2 wins (2 OS)
nL.angle.Jl: 8 wins (2 KO, 8 BF)
Ties: 0
Notes: These results are from my own previous test, recorded in the Geist Fafnir testing thread.

Geist Fafnir.00Proof.Atomic vs Nightmare Longinus.Angle.Jolt
(nL launched second)
gF.00P.At: 8 wins (7 OS, 1 KO)
nL.angle.Jl: 2 wins (2 KO)
Ties: 0
Notes: These results are from my own previous test, recorded in the Geist Fafnir testing thread.

Vs Left Attack (Using Destroy')

Spriggan Requiem (Left Spin).00Expand.Destroy' vs Nightmare Longinus.Angle.Jolt
(nL launched second)
Sr.00E.Ds': 6 wins (6 OS)
nL.angle.Jl: 4 wins (4 KO)
Ties: 0

Drain Fafnir.00Expand.Destroy' vs Nightmare Longinus.Angle.Jolt
(nL launched second)
dF.00E.Ds': 3 wins (3 OS)
nL.angle.Jl: 7 wins (3 OS, 4 KO)
Ties: 0

Vs Right Attack
(I used Twin Nemesis on X' to be consistent with my previous tests of dF/gF against right spin attack.)
(All left spin beys were soft launched. Cause its sooo good.)

Spriggan Requiem (Left Spin).00Proof.Atomic vs Twin Nemesis.00Bump.Xtreme'
(tN launched second)
Sr.00P.At: 8 wins (7 OS, 1 BF)
tN.00B.X': 2 wins (2 KO)
Ties: 0

Drain Fafnir.00Proof.Atomic vs MGC Twin Nemesis.00Bump.Xtreme'
(tN launched second)
dF.00P.At: 11 wins (11 OS) (73.33% winrate)
MGC tN.00B.X': 4 wins (3 KO, 1 BF) (26.67% winrate)
Ties: 0
Notes: These results are from my own previous test, recorded in the Geist Fafnir testing thread.

Geist Fafnir.00Proof.Atomic vs MGC Twin Nemesis.00Bump.Xtreme'
(tN launched second)
gF.00P.At: 8 wins (8 OS)
MGC tN.00B.X': 2 wins (1 KO, 1 BF)
Ties: 0
Notes: These results are from my own previous test, recorded in the Geist Fafnir testing thread.

Spriggan Requiem (Left Spin).00Expand.Destroy' vs Twin Nemesis.00Bump.Xtreme'
(tN launched second)
Sr.00E.Ds': 9 wins (8 OS, 1 KO)
tN.00B.X': 1 win (1 KO)
Ties: 0

So these results would show that Spriggan Requiem, in left spin, is a complete upgrade from Drain Fafnir, which I would consider what left spin layers should be balanced around, in every aspect. The only thing I haven't tested is how Requiem can fight against bL.Gn (I do show how dF and gF do in the gF testing thread). Requiem does not carry the LAD reduction that Geist Fafnir does. I cannot see a reason to unban left spin Spriggan Requiem. Right Spin Requiem I feel like is a different story, and something I will open a separate thread for later.

Union Achilles (Speed) 0 Wall Bearing Gen vs Spriggan Requiem 7 Lift Bearing (Left)

Sr:80%

Sr has way more L.A.D then Union so as AirKingNeo said It not be Unbanned!

I already proved Union (Speed) has poor LAD in https://worldbeyblade.org/Thread-Takara-Tomy-Union-Speed-Gen-Testing
Testing Union vs Requiem Left wouldn't be very accurate.

Quote:Union Achilles.Outer.Destroy Gen vs Drain Fafnir.Outer.Destroy'
(Simultaneous launches)
UA.outer.Ds Gen: 0 wins
dF.outer.Ds': 10 wins (10 OS)
Ties: 0

RE: Spriggan Requiem Testing And Discussion [Limited Format] - BuilderROB - Sep. 30, 2020

Since I’ve been seeing people’s Spriggan Requiems in left spin OSing dF, I decided to try this same spin test again but with Destroy’.

Spriggan Requiem (Left Spin) 0 Destroy’ (Odd) Vs. Drain Fafnir (MGC) 0 Destroy’ (Even). I switched the 0 discs and Destroy’ drivers after 5 rounds. I did ten rounds.

Results:

Spriggan Requiem: 60% (6 OS’)

Drain Fafnir: 40% (4 OS’)

I feel Spriggan Requiem Left Spin and Drain Fafnir are very close in stamina potential. Spriggan Requiem seems to have the upper hand, although I will do testing later doing simultaneous launches and see if this is true.

You may want to look at my same spin stamina test that has simultaneous launching between Sr vs dF.
