how is his opinion wrong cause of that? any characters can get stronger just cause drum has imperial doesn't mean aiga would lose to him and let's not do that imperial is better and new thing cause it really doesn't matter that much, amane with Bushin ashura burst apocalypse with the Bing bang armor.  do you know why thats cause amane train to do that so aiga or even valt can do the same specially when both of them are more skilled than amane same applies to drum his strong and skilled  but more skilled than aiga or valt is highly debatable specially with drum having retry against Arthur more than once  which in a long run his weakness is completely exposed. and as someone  else mentioned keep the brave valkyrie out of this it doesn't bring anything to this discussion. lets keep it simple

It’s like that for a lot of Japanese anime becauseee, welllll, idk its just like that for some reason. The character voice is never really effected by puberty unless their is a very large age gap. The thing about the English dub is that while it is still anime, Dubbed Japanese animation isn’t really portrayed far too different from regular or western animation worldwide outside Japan and because of that a lot of themes are sometimes not shared between the Japanese and dub since the dub is mean’t to pass on as any regular tv show. One of these things is the voice acting. As for Valt’s voice in the dub, his voice in s1 was executed so uniquely it would be impossible for him to transition smoothly from that voice to a proper deep one so they just made the new voice actor portray him less raspy and more smooth taking, it would have to transition between multiple voice actors with the voice slowly becoming deeper and less intricate before finally reaching an agreeable point.

There is a border line between reality vs anime. Not everything will be realistic hence it is fiction. Puberty in characters is far-fetched unless the anime is based on reality which is rare.

I mean yeah it's just an anime and none of it has to be realistic, but still doesn't mean I can't make jokes about it. Like imagine if Beyblade goes on for 3 more seasons and Valt is 18 and still hasn't undergone any changes to his voice. I will actually laugh for the rest of the episode.

Lane is being heavily referenced and advertised in the anime and he appears on both the manga and anime posters. Him and his bey were also hidden in a corocoro magazine and labelled as “top secret” I think he seems to be very important while Arthur was hardly relevant since he was not the final boss. Another thing to note is trust the July release is always an important antagonist bey. The beys released in July were Xeno Xcalibur, Legend Spriggan, Revive Phoenix and Venom/Erase Devolos which were all beys that belonged to important antaonists even if they weren’t the final/main antagonist or the final bey of the main antagonist. Arthur’s bey was not released in July so that’s probably a hint as to why he didn’t receive much importance. Arthur was also never hyped or teased very much and he didn’t appear to occupy the manga and anime posters/cover at all. Phi, Red eye and Lui all occupied manga covers and were very important and now Lane occupies a huge chunk of the latest manga cover. All in all I think Lane is indicated to be an extremely important character this season due to his advertisement, consistent anime references and his apparent connection/ resemblance to Hyuga and Hikaru.

To be honest (and I'll probably get flack for this) but I've grown rather sick and tired about hearing about Lane, to the point where I don't want to talk about him at all and keep in mind that he hasn't even appeared in the anime yet. Like okay, he's going to be a major character in Beyblade Burst Sparking so he's inevitably going to get some hype and get talked about often, which is fine. However, the amount of fake news and false speculation around him, the constant "Is Lane the owner of Uranus?! Does he own it?!", as well as him being brought up so constantly, it has made me stop looking forward to threads I used to enjoy reading like the "Burst - Upcoming Release & Rumor Thread" thread.

And yes, I know he hasn't really appeared much in the manga and hasn't appeared in the anime so I can't judge and I'm not judging the character himself, he could be a great character for all I know but I've just grown cynical whenever he's brought up to the point where I'm not really excited about him (unless he manages to impress me as a character that much once he appears). And yes, I know I'll get a lot of hate for daring to complain just because people are excited over Lane (and you are free to do so) but that's not it at all, people can be excited for Lane if they want to but I'm just personally tired of seeing that Lane is all people talk about now and the amount of false speculation has made it worse TBH.

Althought Im not as a huge fan of Burst much anymore, Ill tell you this: Its okay to feel this way. There are plenty of other things Im into, and the feeling you get around overhype overkill is relatable. And like you said, it could spread false information and be harmful for those easily mislead. No one wants to find fake information out there (unless theyre doing it as a hobby or looking forward to a cool prank). All overhype cases end soon, so this Lane thing will be gone sooner or later. This feeling is definitely relatable

Thank you for understanding where I'm coming from, and I apologise if I came off as overwhelmingly negative. And I agree, overhype can be overkill and lower the hype for some people who may eventually get fed up of hearing the same speculation over and over again. Combined with the misinformation for Lane and his what his bey is, it just makes it more of a chore to be honest.

And I know that there are probably some people who like to mislead others or spread false information as a prank but personally, I've never really found those kind of pranks funny and can mislead those who are just joining this forum.

Instead of upcoming release and rumour thread it has become a random speculation thread... with theories that are outlandish instaed of somewhat credible information which is just sad.. even though im relatively new to making an wbo account i had always used this as the site to get good information rom the upcoming release thread... Now that has sadly changed especially since lane valhala has been teased...

And, oh gods, the worst type of misinformation out there gotta be Fanon content young n obnoxious people spread (they probably dont know that Fanon/Theories/Headcanons =/= Fact). When the hype gets too much, Fanon agreements and headcanons spring to life and are forced upon others

That actually reminds me of whenever I scroll on YT for any videos regarding the Beyblade Burst anime, I always see these misleading clickbait thumbnails of videos where we supposedly see certain characters from the past seasons return with an obviously fanmade bey. Like, back when GT was the current season, there are so many videos which shows characters like Shu and Free supposedly returning to GT despite being the contrary and no, I'm not talking about GT Episode 23 with Free's cameo in Fumiya's flashback, I mean they photoshopped the characters in one of GT's backgrounds on their thumbnails which is misleading to anyone who might not have caught up with the GT anime.

I also remember seeing a thumbnail to a video which showed Wakiya supposedly in the GT anime and holding a fanmade GT Wyvern and whilst it should be obvious that it's fake, it's clear that they were trying to clickbait viewers. Now, these types of thumbnails seem obvious to us but for younger viewers, they might've thought it was real and it's not fair to mislead them in case they were fans of Wakiya and Wyvern and were expecting him to be in GT, only to find out he isn't there at all.

TLGrinR, a lot of Beyblade Burst anime videos have some misleading, photoshopped or clickbait thumbnails.

Yeah stuff like that REALLY ticks (am i allowed to say that?) me off, the worst ones ive seen is Valt, um how do i put this? Pretty much doing a certain thing with Kristina Kuroda, and its not just Valt, ive seen it done with Shu and i think Free. Ive seen ones with fake fan made beys that haven't been acknowledged, some others ive seen is a re-skin of an existing character

This is pretty much why I despise certain fan-led videos on YouTube concerning Beyblade (especially from Tubers with barely a reputation). Misinformation flies easily within the Beyblade fandom

oh yea I saw that thumbnail about valt and Kristina thing it was disturbing for me why would someone do that . and yea the fanmade thumbnails of fake beys being hold by certain characters is just bad (can't say to much bad words their lol) I've seen phi with a Phoenix, xhaka, free, shu as many of you have seen theirs even daina and kensuke too are even a aiga having a new type of Achilles that Doesn't exist, just to get the views which is stupid cause their going to see how fake it is an lose credibility. or some stupid people takes it seriously like the Lucifer bey the amount of people I read about that Lucifer thing is exhausting for my eyes an the worst thing is the talk about it like it's facts and confirm instead of speculations really tiresome . unfortunately theirs to much peoples that fall for this

There are people who use anime-like images/fanart of Beyblade OC scenes as thumbnails, pretending said OCs are characters in the anime and that its a legit episode. Crazy how people also havent been caught for using others’ properties without permission (this kinda junk is why I litter my possessions with watermarks)
