The Feed is accessed through the lightning bolt icon in the top right of the website. It provides a list of all activity in chronological order (newest to oldest) associated with your account via other users.

This includes:

1. Messages received
2. Post mentions by other users
3. Liked posts by other users
4. Quoted posts by other users
5. Moved threads by staff

The top right of the Feed window also contains quick links to your Private Message inbox and a link to send a new message.

You can clear your Feed by clicking "Clear Feed" in the bottom right of the window.

The red number beside the lightning bolt icon represents the number of new notifications since the last time you cleared your Feed.
