How do the Rankings work?
One of the main goals of the World Beyblade Organization is to provide a competitive atmosphere for Bladers. To that end, we have created the World Beyblade Rankings.
When you win a battle against another WBO-registered Blader, you gain BeyRank (BR). When you lose a battle, you lose BR. The amount of BR won or lost depends on what the difference of BR is between you and your opponent as well as a slight multiplier based on the total amount of participants in the event.
BeyRank is used to estimate the skill level of a Blader. It is assumed that a Blader with a high BR is stronger than a Blader with a lower BR. When a Blader with high BR defeats a Blader with low BR, they will not gain much. However, if they lose to a Blader with much less BR than them, they will lose a large amount of BR.
You will always gain the same amount of BR your opponent loses, and vice versa. Therefore, to continue to gain decent amounts of BR, you must battle Bladers at a similar level to you.
