Yeah it's been confirmed by the official Japanese website. You can download more gym leaders and champions through Wi-Fi connections. There is no info on why Akuroma is there but people over at PokeBeach and Serebii are speculating that he's trying to "destroy" Cynthia since she is the one running the thing.

Edit: So I don't double post...Update

I hope you get to have rematches with the gym leaders after you beat the like in HG(heart gold) and SS(soul silver). Just so we can level up our pokemon easier

actually, if that thing with the old gym leaders is true (witch im preety sure it is confirmed, though i cant confirm that) then we will almost certain to battle the current/new gym leaders again, but i would rather have it in that gym chalenge or like in pokemon platinum than the tedius unlockment process of geting the gym leaders and calling them at a certain time just to get a rematch out of them like in heart gold and soul silver.
i saw on serebii the pics of the world championships i cant wait for the euro release!!!!!!
DLC for a DS game is a nauseating tactic; they should just include everyone right from the start.

Thank God it's for the DS and not the 3DS, haha.
I thought it would be called grey too. And this is the first time they used '2' in the name of the sequel in Pokemon.

New trailer. Basically just shows off the Black and White Kyurem, the triple battle feature (complete with Pokemon such as Metagross, which we already knew were making a return), and that N and Ghetsis make their way back into the storyline. Personally, I'm intrigued to see what Gamefreak did with them, because N was always my favorite character from B/W.
According to Serebii on that trailer, the translation shows that N heard what Ghetsis was up to and came back to stop him. Also, from the visual cues it seems like Ghetsis' Kyurem and N' Zekrom/Reshiram (depending on version) get fused into the new legendaries.

Since it's 2 years later, I'm waiting for Hilda/Hilbert to appear as the final trainer in a Red-like situation. I hope they make a new Mt. Silver-like area and BRING BACK THE REMATCH FUNCTION (VS Seeker or even Match Call/Trainer's Eyes, idc) so that we can level up properly again.
I have not been really following on info BW2, but do we just basically restart our journey with completely new pokemon?

You are playing a completely different character, so... yes.

I really, really disliked Black and White as games - the Pokémon designs were okay, but everything about Unova is horrible and the actual games left a really bad taste in my mouth - either from being too slow, or just trying to do too much that meant nothing.

This is the first Pokémon game release information I have been nothing but upset to hear.
I agree. I like the original games better.

i had heard that it was the same player just grown up this one looks betterSmile

Told you it wasn't the same character
It's not the same character guys. The original Black is the Unova League Champion so why in God's name would he go out and get a new starter Pokemon, live far from his family and friends for 2 years, and act like he doesn't remember any of his past friends?

It's an entirely different person who just so happens to look like Black.
thats what i thought untill i saw this it was this kid from my school damb i dont no why i beleved him kinda funny now sorry guysxD

These games are due for release in Japan in June 2012 and are sequels to Pokémon Black & White, running on the Nintendo DS. Not much is currently known about these games but they feature Kyurem's alternate forms within them; Black Kyurem in Black 2 and White Kyurem in White 2.

Pokémon Black 2 & White 2 are set within the Unova region 2 years after the events of Pokémon Black and Pokémon White, and as such, a lot has changed in the region. Areas have been renovated such as Route 4 while others have undergone drastic changes. The game begins in a previously inaccessible part of Unova to the southwest as you take control of a character who lives in Aspertia City, with their childhood rival. There are various other new areas in Unova, with their own new Gyms and Gym Leaders.

Unlike Pokémon Black & White, Black 2 & White 2 feature a Pokédex that contains Pokémon from various other regions of the game, with the dex having 300 Pokémon within it before the National Pokédex is obtained, making it the biggest regional PokédexPokémon Black 2 & Pokémon White 2
What? One of the bolded paragraphs was re-posted at the end...
The cover of CoroCoro has leaked and with that, a new form of a Pokemon for BW2 has been revealed.

Took them long enough...Here's Keldeo's Resolution Forme

All credit goes to Water Pokemon Master from PokeBeach.
So that's the new Keldo form, I think they could of made it a little more diffrent from the original because, sadly, to me it feels like they got lazy. Also can't wait to see what happen to your carictor from BW1, although he/she will most likely will play the same role as Red was in GS and HGSS if he/she will even be in it.
Serebii has updated with a whole lot of new information now, obviously all credit goes to them and their sources.

Apparently it may be possible now to set the game's difficulty! I wonder what parts of the game will this new key item change to make the game more difficult.

Under 2 Days to go! Can't wait for it. XD

Hm, I'm thinking the levels would be higher, which means you are forced to do some more training, who knows.

At first, I hated White Kyurem, but it seems as if that looks better- in sprite form obviously .. and I think you get better Pokemon. Wink
Plus probably better pokemon with better moves. I've played a Mod of HeartGold like that. Also i'm glad that there are new pokemon mixed in with the old since the new ones(Black and White ones) are pretty crummy compared to the older generations.

Never thought I would say this, but this game actually sounds almost worth buying...if I really didn't despise the B&W pokemon designs, i would be all over this game. Is it a direct story sequel to the 1st B&W? I haven't been keeping up with the news about this game...

If there are tons of Pokemon from Kanto, Johto and Hoen, then consider this game reconsidered in my opinion XD
It features a different character than in the first one if that's what your asking.
