I think I'm going to star with Oshawott, not sure. I usually start off with the fire type in pokemon games, like I did with Black, but Samurott was more fun to use then Emboar. I also don't want two fire types on my team as I plan to catch a Magby.

I generally prefer fire types, too, but I have Emboar in White, so why get another one? Still, now I have two water types on my team, with Psyduck and Oshawott.

I chose Tepig as my starter. Apparently the Male character's starter is supposed to be Tepig. And I haven't had a fire starter since Gen 1. In the other Black and White games, I chose Snivy.

Aokiji The Oshawott
Grimoire The Riolu
Ace The Magby
Pretty good game so far, I'm training at virbank city currently.

I'm in Driftveil city challenging the gym. My team is semi under level though. I have one lvl 29, one lvl 26, and the rest are lvl 25. :\

Dude. Riolu and magby? Already? (I'm guessing that you haven't got that far yet, since no-ones evolved)

You can get a lvl 25 Braviary in the desert area. Pretty sweet.

You mean rufflet? Rufflet doesn't evolve until level 54...

Nope! Braviary! Only on mondays though! Better play fast!

This is only in White. In Black, it's a level 25 Mandibuzz.

Yeah, and it's only on Thursdays for Black 2.

My team right now is Noatak the Oshawott, Artemis the Pidove, Thali the Mareep, Jeko the Riolu, and Percy the Psyduck. Get all the nickname references and I'll give you +30 coolness points. The Psyduck is there for psychic moves later on.

I'm also in Virbank City, training. Or should I say, grinding ;-;

I know Noatak and Artemis. Noatak is Amon from legend of korra, and Artemis is an ancient greek deite. I'm assuming Percy is from percy jackson, haha. Anyways, I can't wait until I get to Driftveil so I can get N's Zorua. I also got the Genesect from the Wifi event.

I was thinking of Thalia too. But anyways, look here on where to get eevee; http://www.serebii.net/pokedex-bw/133.shtml Serebii is a very good website to read up on pokemon stuff. Like when they evolve, how rare they are, catch rate, where to find them, etc.... The game is really fun so far, Lucario just force palms the carp out of everything, and Magby is 8 levels away from evolving!

Ha, I agree with the Force Palm thing. For me, things are very rough. I just can't beat Clay. I destroy his Krokorok and Sandslash but Excadrill beats me every time.

In my opinion, Braviary is a very good strategy for Krokorok. Since his Krokorok intimidates Braviary, it's effect kicks in and boosts his attack +2 I THINK. Then I usually just use fly and Krokorok is down. Excedrill is tuff though. It's a Ground and Steel type. My Pignite isn't fast enough to hit first, so I TRY to use a fire move, specifically Flame Charge, but usually it just Bulldozes me before I can attack. :\
Same thing with Lucario. It's not fast enough. And then I send out my bird pokemon, which usually just get Rock Slide'ed. Lastly, I have a Deerling which helps. It knows Jump kick, so yah. The last few times, Excedrill has been able to avoid the attack.
My pokemon are really under level, and I have been trying to train. My team levels are 28 - 30.
If you guys want a good Deerling, you can get one on Route 6 in the science building. talk to the scientist next to the winter deerling. It's level 30 and its ability is Serene Grace. It knows Faint Attack, Take Down, Jump Kick, and Aromatherapy.

I just caught the newest addition to my team, Chalupa the Sigilyph! Now I have a flying pokemon that isn't some lame bird.

Where did you get sigilyph?
