i wish there was a tournament in miami
I feel there is not a big following in florida and I am willing to travel to get to any tournament if one can be established in the state with some serious active bladers. I need some competition so i can test my skill
You're the kind of guy we need lol. Just replied to your PM; hopefully we can work out a tournament for September.
ATTENTION FLORIDA MEMBERS. For all those interested in participating in a tournament in Jacksonville, please contact either me or The Supreme One through pm or just post on this thread. (Make sure to change the settings on your profile to allow pm's to be received)
I am Switchblad3r's brother and i will be attending a tournament in Jacksonville with him if possible!
Come on, guys; no one's posted in this thread for a while. I can potentially travel down to Orlando for a tournament on February 14th-17th, but I need to plan and find a location in advance. Anyone?
If you hosted a tournament in miami or hollywood,a lot of bladers would come.I'd be able to come too.
I can't host a tournament there, but you could try once you become knowledgable enough about the WBO. The drive from Jacksonville (where I live) to Miami is 6 hours.
Sorry,I was being selfishJoyful_2 If it was down here then it would take you a long time to get here.
No way are there virtually no bladers in satellite beach Florida aren't there any tourneys in palm bay cause I'm pretty sure that's close to where I live?
Are there any bladers who live near satellite beach?
i made this thread over 5 years ago, and didnt expect to even get a reply and now look at it 5 years later people are still posting and i helped so many people throughout all of florida get together and beyblade Smile
Unfortunately I wouldn't say it's helped us get together lately, since when I post, people rarely reply Pinching_eyes_2 Do you still play?

I'll be in town for most of the next week, so if enough people are interested, I'll bring my Beyblades with me. I'm looking for a nice park right now, but suggestions are welcome since I'm not all that familiar with the area. Smile
Hello anyone interested in a tournament in the Orlando area? I'm trying to host one and any help would be great like choosing the formats, supplying prizes, getting the word out and helping organizing the tournament(i.e. supplying stadiums, refereeing battles etc.)and choosing a location to make it convenient for every one.If interested in helping with the tournament please send me a message as for choosing the format the two formats that get the most requests for will be it. This is something i'm planning but if it doesn't get enough people behind i'm afraid it would be impossible for me to do it.

So let get people hype and we can have an amazing time.
You should focus on getting at least seven people before you start worrying about formats. Smile

You should also check out the WBO event guide to get a sense of what's expected from tournament hosts: http://worldbeyblade.org/eventguide.pdf

thanks again for helping me out since i'm new to all this
Unfortunately I live about 3 hours away from Orlando, in Jacksonville. I'm in college at the moment, but if you ever want to host in northeastern Florida over the summer or during a holiday, I'd be happy to help out with judging, providing stadiums, gathering interest, etc. In the meantime, best of luck with hosting in Orlando!

sounds good more people are free during the summer
Alright so I'm gonna bump this thread back up since there may be some people interested in making/joining a tournament considering the 100k views but are discouraged by the lack of recent posts on the thread Sooooo basically if you're interested before we think of the prizes or format we need the minimal amount of attendees in a generally close area for a majority to plan our event
it would be great wbo to battle in hialeah

I live in Florida to

I'm not to beyblade I have battle for 4 years
I'm 40 minutes away but if we get enough people we could meet halfway
Hi again, everyone! I've been talking with StormPyxis, who—like me—really wants to host a tournament in Florida. Unfortunately there's a good 5 hours separating us, but we figured we'd gage the interest and see if there's a possibility that we could meet somewhere in between. I will be in Jacksonville, Florida from early May to mid-August before heading back to college and can be available most weekends, so let us know if any of you guys are interested in participating in a tournament and when. There's also a high possibility that I'll be attending Anime Festival Orlando, so we could try hosting down there, but we would need to get that squared away asap.
Yup me and @[The Supreme One] Have been talking a bit about getting a tournament set up down here in the sunshine state, And yeah while it is kind of lame that our areas are far apart we're probably the closest really active members of the WBO, So it only makes sense we'd try to put something together. I'm actually super fond of setting the tournament up at Anime Festival Orlando, although i'm not really a fan of any Anime other than Beyblade, It seems like a nice, public, indoor place for the state to get together and play some beyblade! Of course this would probably happen during summer as I'm off school then. Anyways if you're on the thread and are interested in participating in the tournament go ahead and post in the thread, as well as PM me and TSO as we're probably gonna be the hosts. So yeah if you're up for it there may be a challenge near you during summer.
Thanks, and hope some of Y'all can attend!
