Eman: I think akirasdaddy had a video on it on youtube where he takes it apart so you can see the mechanism. It's hard to describe if you don't have one. The l drago destroy f: s thread should have details, if you can sift through it, too.

that's not what this thread is for.

just dont tell me you opened dranger gt's engine gear..it one of the precious engine gear ever made..so far,i neverknow anyone that can put on / assemble engine gear once it is opened..but cllucth base wont be a big deal..

I opened the EG, but just because it stopped working before I opened it, im trying to put it back and im almos doing it but there always misses a piece of the spring to enter so I have to starts from the begginig. I will put some pics for you to see it!

I'm afraid there's very little we'll be able to do, it's a very difficult mechanism to fix, near impossible I'd think. I've had the same issue with dragoon gt's eg, never did fix it Uncertain
oh ok. i see how it works though. the spinning velocity move the levers outward. as the spinning velocity slows down, the levers move in and the tip gets dropped. because the sharp tip has terrible balance, it makes it a rather useless mechanism, unless of course it allowed l drago to outlast its opponent, then it has some use. i know you already have knowledge of the mechanism but i want to post mine.
so one of my kids at work bought a lightning l drago from a store and asked if he could use it in our tournament at my work and im not totally sure how to answer him so any help in what to tell him would be great!!
Well you will be allowed to use it in tourneys since it is a real bey , the forbidden bey thing doesn't mean anything, but make sure he use lightning and l drago together or its illegal.
right thats what i thought thanks for the help.
: very good. Isok to post. You're doing well now, might want to work on capitalisation, though :p
Re-posting my question from earlier, cos it's kinda hard to see in the mess of posts afterwards: Plastic-Knowledge People: Is there any real competitive use for Dranzer GT's Reverse EG? Or is it just a cool gimmick?
not really actually..after the reverse eg is activated..dranzer gt loss massive amount of spin..and..during the eg is activated..it is by luck that it hit the opposing beys..som time it dont even hit..eventhough it hit..it doesnt provide good amount of force to knock out the opposing beys..
Apparently by increasing the weight you can get a better spin time from it, and use it, I read? Still, I didn't think it'd be much use. Cool gimmick, but not really useful.
Argh, I wish these parts weren't missing, I have Dranzer GT, but I've lost all but the AR >Unhappy
i dont think adding weight to it will make big chance..
hahah..well..you still have the most important part fo dranzer gt..Smile
True dat. No good bases for it though, since young me decided Storm Grip sucked and the rubber could be poked out Angry FFFFFFFFF- Best I have is either SG Flat or Metal Change Base (plus a number of fake metal "sanded-flat" bases, lol). What would you recommend? I know this kinda belongs in build me a combo, but yeah, while you're here Tongue_out
if FS is the MFB version of metal change core is FS better than Metal Change Core
They're honestly very, very different, and no, obviously not, as Metal Change Core didn't suck... Surely you can work this out for yourself?
But they peform similar to each other on flat surface its not agressive and on the slope they speed up and start moving agressively
Im guessing Metal change core is much better than FS

All that really doesn't matter... I think there is actually no reason to compare plastic parts to MFB... Also, metal change core was WAY different, as th!nk said...
How and why is the 230 track good for defence? the track itself has no defence mechanism, so wouldn't it be vunerable to attack? because its just a spinning pillar
Have you seen a battle with it? I suggest you go read it's testing thread. Honestly, you need to search before asking questions...
As I promised, here's the answer in detail, amit-

230 is the tallest Track released thus far. 230 is part of the Maximum Series, and is labeled as the Maximum height for Tracks. 230 is released in a light purple color, and has six indents near the top of the Track that sharpen downwards to about the half of the Track. 230 has an extra, reinforced layer of plastic to protect the Track more, since it is so vulnerable to Metal on Plastic collisions. Since 230 is so tall, it can wobble at great lengths for extra Stamina, and it uses its height as an advantage to protect itself from low incoming Attacks, by protecting the Metal Wheel from major contact while using the reinforced plastic to absorb most of the shock. This allows for excellent Stamina and Defense abilities. 230 can defeat any low Attack customization under the 120 height using top-tier Defense parts. 230 has also shown prominent Stamina abilities, as it can defeat low Track Stamina customizations, such as 85. With this said, 230 also has some noticeable weaknesses. As a Defense Beyblade, 230’s only weakness is against high Track Attack types such as MF Lightning L Drago CH120RF and MF Gravity Perseus R145RF. 230’s Stamina weaknesses are against high Stamina tracks like AD145 and 145, as it has shown to be equal when tested against each other.

Due to the recent testing of 230's dominance over most low Attack types, it has caused a shift in the Attack metagame. Bladers are developing ways to counter 230, as low Attack track types cannot simply put up with 230 as a Defense Track. The high Attack customizations stated are the only viable customizations that can really do any significant damage to 230, making 230 a very game-breaking and dominant Defense and Stamina piece that has shifted the Attack metagame, restricting the use of any low Track Attack customizations, along with low Track Stamina customizations.

Hope this helps!

EDIT- Beaten by th!nk. Also, thanks to Ray Joker, for his amazing Flame Byxis rough draft..
wow thanks Janstarblast, that helped heaps, also gave me more reason to buy flame byxis when its released in Australia. answered all my questions too Grin
Instead of reading all of that, which is copy-paste from a Beywiki draft, you're answer is simplified here:

Plastic is better at absorbing shock than Metal is, so when a Beyblade hits it, it doesn't make a difference. although the upper portion can not absorb hits as well as the bottom, because the Metal Wheel sits there, which is why 125 and above tracks have no difficulty beating it..

Well, I copy pasted it as I thought that a more detailed answer might help more... Stupid

Still, a metal to plastic collision affect the plastic parts more(just my observation, where no science is involved, if 230 was ridged like other tracks, I guarantee you, it won't be as great for defense) especially when it hits at a vital part... Just because of that thicker plastic on 230, its good for defense. Stupid So, it was highly important to give a detailed answer.... Joyful_2

It was most sensible to copy-paste it, but you could explain it in you're own words, making it easy to grasp.

When you hit Metal with another piece of Metal, the clanging noise continues for a short period even after retrieving the hitting piece of Metal, but when you hit plastic with Metal, the clanging noise lasts only till how much power is given.

Which means that Metal does not absorb shock as well as Plastic. The thick Plastic also adds to the extra Defense.
How much would a Master Driger MS with a crack in the AR ring and no stickers go for?

a penny?

ask in the Purchase Consultant...
Umm... I haven't been keeping up with the new releases lately, so I was wondering... When did Hasbro release the first few Beyblade's from the Beyblade: Metal Masters line? I saw 3 of them online. They were: Galaxy Pegasis, Ray Unicorno, and there was also a Capricorn. But Ray Unicorno had a name change...

EDIT: The Capricorn was Fury Capricorn. It was just in a Metal Masters package.
