Confusing, what was happening to Basalt?
I uploaded it on YouTube :
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QFa8CyqqunM

It really does not show much though.
And as always TT doesn't really "show-off" the bey. But still, it looks to be (somewhat) promising. Thanks for posting (the video on Youtube) Kai-V.

Thats what I gathered from the video (thanks for putting it on YouTube Kai-V). Looks like you pull it out to change the tip, then push it back in so it locks into place.
So, it IS an upgrade SG Triple Change. Wonder how tall it actually is, looks kinda shorter than the usual 145, but maybe that's my imagination.
Here is a picture of the box if any one wants to see it.

Nice Work
that box looks Zetta Awesome
I'm dying to know how the yellow parts work... Gaaaah, c'mon TT, throw us a bone!

i think it was like when the bey spins fast the yellow parts come out and when it slows down it goes back in
well thats what i heard some where on this thread
EDIT: oh yeah found it

Vari Ares' internal working :

Of course even removing or touching the screws is illegal ...

I read that, just not enough detail on how exactly it'll work.

Ahaha, are you a wizard? That actually tells me a bit. Though, I'm worried by the hollowness.
@Th!nk
oh soz
i was just quoting what i read
it is a bit hallow ... that could be a downfall
so is the yellow things spring loaded so when they hit they get pushed and then put back out??? ( go off on how the spring in a launcher works, cuz it looks the same)
though the points look really good, can definatly smash potential
just being a dual spin makes this a worthy purchase (IMO)
Mm hollow beyblade. Hope it's not another dark...

Wonder what the weight will be.
wing attacker mk ii
How did they do this......?
Anyway, I'm waiting for 16th July.
I JUST CAN'T WAIT FOR THIS!!!

about the LR launcher:
OK my bad.
I did not notice it = =

Oh god please no.

But yeah, this could be disappointing... Wait for vids though.
Huh. On the box, it looks as though the words 'Vari' and 'Ares' are connected. Does this mean that the actual name is Variares, or something similar?
It sounds more like Warriors...and seeing that hollow it seems the weight of this may not exceed 35 g but I may be very wrong in saying this... BTW where does that orange thing shown in Kai-V's link fit?..It isnt seen on the image of the box
Its like the New Generations Black Dranzer Gasp
*facepalm*

Seriously, black dranzer = DRANZER GOD DAMNED F!. SERIOUSLY. It's not a unique beyblade, just a bloody recolour.

: The red part's it's underside.

TBH, I'm still expecting good things from this, as TT have yet to release anything TOO light in the maximum series. STILL PUMPED YEAH.
Th!nk - Stop, your energy is slowing my computer down.

So yeah, I saw Akiras Daddy's video on Vari Ares, I have high hopes for it. It looks wicked, that thing could do some major damage. Delta Drive... not so sure about. The concept is cool, but it's just the fact that it's WB, S, and F. Maybe the weight and height of the track will help it, we can't be sure yet.

OMG YES
The inside IS hollow, so hopefully the outer shell is made of a heavier metal. The mechanism seems somewhat complicated, but not way out of proportion. Anyone else seeing breakages with this thing, or am I the only one? Also, as always, the box looks epic. Grin
I can see them getting chewed up just like Wing Attacker, ugh, a long time ago when I used to battle- Wing Attacker gotten nasty quicker than even Cross Dragon. That's saying something!
