I have to say that that writing is quite blurry and small, but that might be true.
Why, thank you Sniper, I knew it was called that! Hehe, I couldn't see it on the launcher in the picture. Just took a zoomed look, and by golly, it said "LightLauncherLR". This launcher is cool, I'm gonna try to convince my folks to get this for me instead of getting me Gravity for the Beylauncher LR, I like LL2 style launchers bettter.
(Offtopic) Honestly, I still think Gravity Perseus would be a better choice. There isn't anything known about this beys performance and such, and the L/R Beylauncher is a lot more powerful than a light launcher, trust me. I doubt this will be much stronger than the average LL. But Delta Drive looks somewhat promising, and Vari Ares looks to have a lot of smash to it from my view. However Gravity Perseus is one of the top wheels for a reason, haha.
There will be a special Ares Face available at the World Hobby Fair Summer 2011 :

It will obviously be there in limited quantity.
Hmm, I wonder if it's possible that someone will buy a large quantity of them and sell them over YJA? If so, I'll be buying, haha. Thanks yet again Kai-V.

Great ... "Stop printing designs on faces so we can release printed faces as 'special releases'" Good job Takara Tomy, you have devised yet another scheme to eat away at my wallet. Although, it is a very pretty colour.
Ehhh, I don't really like the face all too much. But it is limited... And Raigeko, the reason I don't want to get Perseus (Well, I WANT to, but, whatever) is that I've got horrible luck with BeyLauncher handles... yeah, you catch the drift.
Haha, yeah I catch your drift. I haven't broken my L/R quite yet but I've broken 2 Hasbro's. Hasbro's get a lot more power to them, but sadly IMO they break a LOT more easily.
I broke through a Hasbro AND a TT launcher. Anyway, this isn't a place for BeyLauncher handle stories, but for Vari Aries. Still, I hope this bey is good, I want it asides from its looks, and the fact that it's only three pieces must mean the Vari Ares is a little on the heavier side, if not previously speculated.
Guys don't get too off topic

I really love the facebolt , wish it came with the original hopefully the original is tattooed but i extremely doubt it
It's possible, from what I've seen it seems to be a relatively thick wheel, but with the plastic wheel under it, that poses as a possible "filler" for the inside of they bey, which might make it a lot less heavier than we thought. I just hope it isn't another Basalt! XD
Why would you hope it isn't? That means ANOTHER wheel that can rival Basalt and Hell. There's three there. I hope it IS heavy and IS another Basalt. But, as you said, the plastic would take away a lot of weight, so, it can still be good enough for attack and stamina and still possibly defense.

... You can see how much space the red/orange plastic part takes, and you can imagine where the yellow plastic part fits. Therefore, Vari Ares is extremely hollow, however it is quite thick, so its weight should be fine.
I am still disappointed about D: D and it looks funny. on a good note I am glad to here this wont be another escorpio or Grand Smile

Well I'm not saying I don't want another Basalt, but it's just that if it was as heavy as Basalt, I'm sure it'd have more recoil to it because of the shape because Basalt is almost completely round and it has like no recoil.

Never thought of it that way. I was kind of thinking maybe they made a large outer shell, either that or they made a lot of metal cover the plastic part.

(Jun. 15, 2011  4:51 AM)Clonetos Wrote: [ -> ]Thanks anyway so the metal wheel works like L-Drago Destroy where instead of a fusion wheel and cw it combines it both yes? Sorry still new to the whole 4D system.

L Drago Destroy is not combined with its PC & PVC Frame ... Vari Ares, however seems to be one piece. There is no reason it would have different pieces, the mode change is not by rotating or flipping anything.

Hero Wrote:I'm sorry if this has been answered but would the new launcher be called Light Launcher 2 LR?

It has no official name yet.

Thank you, Hero.

no i meant the metal wheel ACTS as both CW and Wheel and the PC frame acts as support.

It looks to me like the metal is the Metal Frame and it covers the yellow and the orange in which dedicates PC Frames and Core
Well I just think so, correct me if I'm wrong
I expect much out of this bey, and hopefully by the looks of it it may have some recoil.
Heavy,Heavy,Heavy,Heavy....HEAVY!
Thanks Kai-V (pretty late but better late than never)
Yeah, Kiazer i have to agree, it does look heavy, also the mode with the plastic furthest out, could reduce recoil, and/also spin steal.

i hope it doesn't rival kerbecs, as that would be upsetting to my beloved combo T^T, but I,m not to sure it will damage Kerbecs, unless its on TH170, as it doesn't have slopes under, so not as much power to smash the lower beys, but then again, Hells recoil might kill itself.

anything lower than TH170 probably wont do to much as BD145 would nullify the smash, but most of this is just theory, as the bey could turn out to have unbelievably good smash, which it might not matter about the BD145
The Light Launcher L/R has an awesome design. Aesthetically, this whole package looks pretty neat.

wht couldnt hasbro do that? i mean if TT can make this whats stopping them but yeah the bey ROCKS i wonder how itll perform...
They might make something like this for Gravity Perseus...
I highly doubt that a triple-change will be implemented into a new Perseus.

I can't wait until someone tries an 85XF combo with this when it's out. Lol.
Are people serious ? You really think Hasbro will duplicate that when TAKARA-TOMY has not even released it yet ? It is impossible, and we saw clear images that show that Gravity "Destroyer" comes with a regular, dark grey, right-spin ripcord launcher. Quit being hopeful idiots, seriously ...

You can see more pictures of D:D, but frankly I still do not know how that would work. Is it really identical to Dranzer F's base ?

Does it litterally have an axis that has three protrusions, representing the three different tips or something ?

Slightly bigger images of previously posted pictures :

If you're talking about Hasbro and the L/R Light Shooter, than no they won't. We just get a regular ripcord launcher.
EDIT: Derp beaten. Didn't read lol.
Also Kai-V, from the screenshots I've seen of it is is almost the same, yes. I can take some photos of Dranzer F's 3 tips if you'd like me to.
