: recoil is always bad, I think you mean "smash".

-V: So it appears the parts of Vari Ares (4d wheel) don't separate at all? Bother. Hope the Yellow plastic doesn't get in the way. D: D looks very similar to Dranzer F's base, you can kinda see the y-shaped tip frame in the pics. Thanks again for the excellent images Smile
Think about how grueling it would be to test D: D ...
Yeah. If that thing breaks, Oh I'm going to have a major mad.
And testing all 3 tips in 1? Oh lawdy.
It would all depend on the mechanism of D:D. Just hopefully it would change all in one as similar to Dranzer F's face. Therefore, as Raigeko said, it wouldn't be as hard. Heh, I don't see it bing that bad since no rubber is involved here.
I just REALLY hope that Delta Drive has a locking mechanism inside of it. If it doesn't, well we can kiss the usefulness of it goodbye.
The D:D may be the first useful 4D track/tip, unless the F tip part ruins it, cuz the D:D consist of mostly Defense tips (but the S tip is outclassed so I'm still a little unsure of how good a defense type it may be)
Im kinda confused as to the use of the yellow plastic bits but unless the metagame has changed drastically over the time I've been away it's been equipped with three mediocre tips which kinda rules out this 4D tip for usefullness.

Vari Ares is what I'm looking forward to; the dual-spin capability is always noteworthy. As for D:D, I'm not that excited for it. I had a Dranzer F, and the tip wore down quite quickly; it didn't stay locked into one mode. I fear the same will happen for D:D, but we won't know until it's released, and extensive testing by multiple members has been done.

I beg to differ. F wouldn't ruin it. The thing is, this looks like a Metagame changer or a Metagame sinker. If the mechanism locks correctly, as Raigeko said, we will hopefully see a great deal of Attack, Defense, and Stamina, seeing to the fact hat there is no rubber.
Ok, not only does this appear to be an over powered bey, but it just looks so baddass you know? I said this on the manga thread, but a bey that looks this much like a Plastic Generation bey, is named after a Ram, and has a blader by the name of King, there is no way that the original beyblade series didn't come to mind when this beyblade was developed. Absolutely impossible =) This will surley be one of my new favorite MFB beys, if only for the aestetics and its clear connection to the old line of beyblades.
Ares, not Aries. Ares is the God of War. Better than a Ram in every way IMO. But I agree, this brings back good memories of my Dragoon F back in the plastic heyday...

I have always agreed with Raigeko's post about the concept of the locking mechanism that it better have one or... but i was saying that the F tip is supposed to be fast (but F tips are not that fast) and it may knock itself out, but I see that the F tip on the D:D would not be that fast on a heavy wheel. I think I understand your concept

I was refering more to Ariel (Wolborg 03) and Ariel 2, because both beys were used by the Vforce/Grevolution character of King. but only because the bey is from the Aries series and is used by a blader named King as well, who looks similar to the original King. I wonder if the personalities are similar as well? maybe we will see a Queen too?

Now that you mention it, the bladed looking metal wheel is something you would see on a Dragoon AR...I hope TT keeps up with making beys more like this from now on. =)

actually it isn't aries is a ram, ares is the god of war (note how one has a I in it and the other doesn't)

looks really good, thanks for the info kai-v
ares the god of war and aries the ram...
. . .
TT couldn't for one second think of the problems the name similarities may cause?
. . .
they ran out of constilations and animals, so now they are doing mythical gods?
. . .
Ok then 0_o
. . .
regardless, the other similarities are too uncanny to be mere coincidence
No not really. Ares and Aries just have similar names, that's all.
Aries - A ram goat thing. Constellation.
Ares - A warrior. Greek God.
:B
The beybade of Ariel is used by the character of King from the old beyblade

The beyblade of Ares (not Aries) is also used by a character of the name of King, 2 different characters, but have the same name and look physicaly alike to eachother.

While the new bey Ares may not be a ram, the name and appearance of its blader is interesting in this way. Aloso, it is clear that many people think that the bey itself looks like something one would see from the plastic generation of beyblades.
At the very least, Ares has a mode change due to D: D. Not like F: D or F: S, but it is still a mode change, as you can change it between rounds.
I'm afraid that I don't think so
As you can see in every picture of D : D, there is a wide square-shaped on the side of the track that Probably a centrifugal forced wing like the one in F : D and F : S
Just a thought
It doesn't have a tip that just retracts, but it has 3 tips on a wheel. It can't do a mode change during a battle, like F: D and F: S. Thought that was already cleared up...
Isn't it like the change SG on Dranzer F?

There are still pretty good constellations TT can make such as Chamaeleon, Orion (Greek myth Orion), Vulpecula (Fox), Columba (Dove), Centaur and Cygnus. And the MFB series was planned to be a long-term one, so TT will have something else when they run out of constellations to use. Sorry for going off topic,

I don't think DGrin will be very sturdy, like the change SG on dranser F, but the metal wheel looks really good Smile
They've done Centaur with Saggitario, who is a Centaur...

Anyway, even if D:D doesn't work well, my hopes are riding on Vari Ares. I'm probably going to want Scythe Kronos before considering this anyways.
HUH!? IT CAN'T CHANGE MODES DURING BATTLE!?

.....weirdo as an 4D bottom. I'm kind of disappointed.

Dude, the tip D: D is such, that if it changed midway of battle, it would end up between 2 tips. The same problem was encountered with the plastic generation Dranzer F.
So, if you are 'really' disappointed, think over it again. So, better be happy with what we have been provided with.... Stupid
Who needs Changing during battle with this? It's like TH170, bottom style. This thing could be super useful.
