i`m making a huge house about 65x55 blocks and its taking forever to build. its gonna be awsome.i had to cut down an entire forest and i`m not done yet.

Why dont you install TMI or some other mod?

Pretty cool. Try making that on a server. Someone might yell at you lol.

Beware of grifters, as the owner of the server I love downloaded a plugin to protect areas and I'm op, that is exactly what I do to my creations.

The server I go on has World Guard, but the only protection is on chests.
And creepers don't wreck things, but TNT does damage.

Alrighty, I've found myself in quite a predicament.

Firstly, I've been trying to figure out how to fix the black screen in Minecraft caused by mods (watching a video on that now). To do that, I had to delete the .minecraft folder, meaning I have to log back in to Minecraft. Problem is, I've forgotten my password, as well as the password and secret question answers to my Yahoo! account that I used to make the Minecraft account. I've searched all over for answers, but none have been of any use. I'm scared that I'll have to fork up 30 more dollars to make a new account if I don't get things straightened out.

I'm sorry if this belongs in the Computers thread; I thought that since this ties in loosely with Minecraft, it would be okay to post here.

As big asLook I have this map and I need help building it it is pretty much a giant minecraft character that is as big as possible renforced with iron to protect from creepers and it has a lot of rooms and it has pretty much every thing you need I have that part covered and it has nothing where the eyes would be there would be torches

I got a problem:
So, We know we can chat in single player, the question is HOW can I do it
Do I do something or is it because Im in a Super Flat world? I want to go to Survival and Creative back and forth

so if anyone can help me, it will be great

Singleplayer commands will be awesome, yes. I don't think that you can type whatever, just commands, I don't know, can't download snapshots . When you create a new world, click the 'World Options' button near the bottom of the screen. There should be 'Seed' input, a 'World Type' button, a 'Structures On/Off' button, a 'Cheats On/Off' button, and a 'Bonus Chest On/Off' button. Click the 'Cheats' to ON, and you will have singleplayer commands. All creative worlds already created will automatically have Singleplayer Commands. You can only use Cheats in 12w16a+, BTW.

I've seen many tutorials on how to make minecraft servers, yet, I have troubles, can you guys provide me a link?

Anyways, my friend, well not my friend, but my online friend is actually too scared to play single player and on peaceful....so he made a server and plays on that so he can do /home and all.

But I really need help with making a server,please help me.

A few weeks ago I found diamonds and then mincraft crashed

I'm gonna make a server soon, not HAMACHI, not Bukkit, not anything. But, there's TONS of people in my town who play, so when I find somebody I'll tell them to get on it.

Will it be available for non-premium players?

Anyone hear about snapshot 12w18a? Theres gonna be books you can write/type in them. And has anyone been on the Disney World server?

Cracked meaning survival or anything depending on the owner, one is chaoticunited, search it up on youtube, I used to play it when I was cracked.

But I still don't get portforward.

My computer isn't fit for Multiplayer, heck even on normal terrain. I only can be in Flat lands, with no structures, and fog at short...

i got to the nether in seven minuites and i spawned on a small island with one tree.

I think everyone knows that singleplayer commands started as a mod, it was VERY prominent until TooManyItems improved greatly. Now, my old PC used to suck butt when it came to Minecraft, until my friends told me that lower settings = better performance.
So, do you have everything turned to the lowest, especially Render Distance to Tiny, because on laggy PCs even Short can be a butt. How does your internet perform on that computer?
