Yeah, I've been enjoying minecraft lately as well. I don't really like multiplayer, so I just stick to single player. I have made a nice house, a farm, a huge mine, and few other things. For the most part, I like the creativity aspect of the game, but I agree that sometimes it can get a bit boring.
I look forward to minecon (a couple of my friends are going to it) and the full game. I am also looking forward to 1.9 and the enhancement of weapons based on xp.

Don't want your stuff to get griefed? Play single player. Don't want to play single player? Use server mods to protect your stuff. Don't want to use mods? Play on a white-listed server.
You say that griefers prevent people from being creative, ever heard of the voxel box?

Anybody watch TheSyndicateProject's videos? He has this awesome world he does most videos in up for download, but I can't get it onto Minecraft. I know the whole "%appdata% thing, but that's nearly it. Help.
TITAN,go to %appdata% click on .minecraft,place the world FOLDER into the saves folder,not the rar/zip,open up the rar/zip with WinRAR or 7zip (i prefer 7zip) and place the file in there to the saves folder

EpicChicken, what side could I be on but Jeb's and Notch's side? I am no fan of Mojang, and certainly not Yogscast, and Notch and Jeb are basically the ones who brought us Minecraft, or at least the most well known for it. Any side but theirs on a Minecraft argument is in my eyes wrong.
