Oo that sounds gooood. They do something like that at the coffee house across the road from my college.

I drink quite a lot of fruit juice, including one i'm not actually allowed to (Tomato), same goes for Soda, but it just crashes for no apparent reason.
You don't pass out for long, about a minute. But it did freak a few people out.

I agree with the recipes, Trying something new is always fun, but I think i'll start basic with their traditional omlettes because I've wanted to try them in forever.
And Taiyaki, mmmm The fish shaped biscuits are amazing.
Either that or I go and bother the Wonderful Patisserie and demand that they tell me the recipe for their calorific cakes XD

I'm not sure on amounts of ingredients...but I do it by eye.

4 Eggs
Louisiana Red Devil Cayenne Pepper Sauce
Sharp Cheddar Cheese
Salt
Pepper

Mix together and cook.

Jesus christ it's amazing

That sounds bloody brilliant. Gasp It's kinda making me hungry thinking about it. And I just ate.
I've always wanted to have Taiyaki! Ever since I watched Kanon. XD I really need to go to Chinatown soon. Pinching_eyes_2

Really like the taste of it. *curses IBS*
I swear, of all the people in the family, why am I lumbered with all the allergies and problems?

That and it works nicely if you've made a tomato sauce too thick, you can thin it out with it without losing the flavour.

Another thing I like to make is Pasta then cover it in cheese, black pepper and mixed herbs, mix it all together and eat.
Simple dish, inexpensive, takes little prep work and is damn gorgeous.
Just don't overdo it on the mixed herbs or youll be pulling them out of your teeth for the rest of the night.
My brother is allergic to dairy.
My mum is allergic to dairy, soya, wheat and pecans.
We think my dad is allergic to rich, milky stuff.

It seems I'm the only one who has survived. Oh but I have a heart condition. Wow my family sucks. XD

God I love pasta and cheese. I always make this if I'm home alone. Oh and for some reason this is all I have when I go to a certain friends house. It's like tradition. When we have sleepovers we have pasta and cheese for dinner, breakfast, lunch and then sometimes dinner again. XD

And gyoza

Something that actually doesn't look good, for once. Taste was acceptable, though.
Wow, Nic. You make your own gyoza? That's remarkable; even my grandmother hardly makes hand-made gyoza.
What is gyoza?

I keep looking for an opportunity to use this
Hahaha I can see why people just get from stores. Mixing the dough and preparing the filling is fine, but rolling it out flat, then keeping it okay before you cook it, is a pain in the carp. Mine turned out too thick.
Wow, you made your own skin? Props to you for that man!
ok there was like no cooking involved in this, it was leftover roast pork and potatoes that i didn't even cook but it was so delicious i have to post it

leftovers in ramen rule
u told me about this brad it looks yummy :3
Is that instant ramen? I'm curious to know if you guys have this:

Best instant noodles in the world =O!!! The original sesami oil flavour is very addictive, their other flavours are not bad also. Also, how much do you pay for them? I recall instant noodles being very overpriced outside of asia.

Anyway, cooked this for lunch today.

Most unhealthy lunch I've had in a while; rice steamed with waxed preserved pork, with pig candy and stir-fried pork on the side. I doubt you have waxed preserved pork where you stay, it's a chinese new year seasonal food, where the meat is heavily waxed and then smoked. It's so dried that vendors don't usually bother to package it, and just tie it to strings and hang it up at stalls.

Edit: something like this;

Also tried baking macarons.

Turned out a bit too bitter, though, because I used very dark chocolate. I'll have to finish these somehow.
Those Macaroons look awesome. And dark chocolate is lucious so I'm sure that wouldn't be a problem. Grin Damn I wish you were my personal cook or something. Unhappy

Yep that's instant Ramen, May buys a lot of it here since there's a japanese store up the road that sells it.
As for the price, it's 40p here which is less than 1 singapore dollar (about 0.8 I think)
Yes, it was instant ramen. Not that variety, though. Sapporo Ichiban.
Still, the amount of people here who want to kidnap Nic for his culinary skills is insane, sign me up to that list Smile

I wish I could cook something that amazing. How much prep time goes into your cooking Nic?
Nic's cullinary skills are amazing !!!
Instant Ramen is pretty cheap here, but we only have like 3 flavors here. I think its around $0.40.
Also,Nic's cooking looks amazing, better than most expensive restaurants we have here(we have like 2 -.-). Cook for me. =P

For things like meat thawing or butter melting or so on, I leave it out for an hour or so while I go do other stuff. Same for bread rising, or oven baking, or boiling, and so on. Generally, actually doing things (kneading, marinating, chopping, frying, etc.) takes only about half an hour or less.

Then it's still as expensive as I remembered then. Some friends studying overseas who visited brought back a lot of instant noodles with them, because it's much cheaper here.

Edit: For the curious, it's S$2 for 5 packs here. That's about US$1+ I think.
Actually if you get them from Lidl it's like 17p. And 20p from the pound shop (5 for £2). It's not the same make but it's still good stuff. Smile
I made myself some chocolate chip muffins and a nice cup of black coffee. The specks are turbinado sugar, since I did not have much plain sugar at home. Tasted good, but did not rise as much as I thought it would
