We have been vacation property owners for 15 years. We love providing our guests with the best possible experiences at each of our properties. At first we listed on the various rental platforms, like AirBnB and VRBO, long before payment processing, instant booking and blocked communications were implemented. While we value the convenience of instant booking, we do miss the abundance of interactions with travelers leading up to a booking. That engagement seems to have fallen at the wayside in place of instant gratification. In the midst of this migration, we couldn't help but wonder how many potential travelers we were losing because they didn't want to bother asking key property feature questions.
