Free speech is fundamental to democracy. It has become apparent in recent years that free speech has become intolerable to some that insist free speech is dangerous and should be curtailed. When in reality free speech, is not hate speech. Free speech is the other point of view, and only by dialogue do we challenge our own reality. Bigotry is a consequence of closing down free speech, we need the other to justify our own perception and truths. People have no right to not be offended!
