Beyblade literally meant everything to me when I was a kid. I started off with the third episode of the anime and I instantly loved it.
But it was kinda hard to get a Beyblade where I live.
But of course, the day came when the toy store had a Beyblade. It wasn't a normal sized one, but one of these fat blades with light and sound. A neon green Dragoon Storm to be exact.
So my first Beyblade was rather unusual.
The next Beyblade I got was Dragoon F, my ultimate love that I kept using and repairing over and over again. It was also my companion when I participated in the World championship in 2002.
I had my own team like most people probably had but it broke apart, mostly because they lost interest in Beyblade or moved away.
Of course, it's no fun being the only person that's trying to hold on to something. I switched to other fandoms, met new people and Beyblade disappeared a long while from my life. So I basically know nothing about the newer Beyblades, my knowledge ends with G-Revolution and the HMS.
Now I'm trying to get back into my old fandom and I'm really happy this site exists. I'm hoping to meet new people with the same interests, also I'm trying to start a new collection, also adding new Beyblades to my Dragoon collection. :D
