I became such a cold, uninterested beyblader because other bladers kept destroying my hopes to be a good player in tournaments. When I was beaten miserably, I would break down crying while the other boy would just smirk. My mother though, apparently ill, convinced me that I should never abandon and that determination is everything. After my defeat at the hands of Ryuuga, I seem to have been so deeply traumatized by the event that I was unable to continue beybattling.
