new pinoy beyblader here

hello guys, im not entirely new to beyblade and ive already played the old plastic ones.

im currently playing the metal fusion versions and we here in the philippines have a lot of those fake cheap beyblades. they are 1:10 cheaper compared to the original takara tomy we can get from the local malls.

did you guys know that the top or modern beyblade is one of our historical toys here in the philippines. we use strings to wind them and we sometimes do tricks like making our tops jump using the strings and catching them with our bare hands.

i went to our local market and saw these classic tops still on sale. 10 pesos each (around .22 cents US dollar)

here is the contents of the package. i call em pegasis w145mn, "w" stands for wood and "mn" stands for metal nails bottom. this top is metal fused in wood.

you still need to get a softdrinks bottle cap and punch a hole in it as a string stopper.

start winding the string launcher like this.

wind the string till the middle part of the wooden part

and hold it like this

and throw it as hard as you can

anyways here are some videos. the guy on this video uses the palm type launch which is still the same as the finger type launch i use.
