Me and my friend have recently picked up beyblades again after not watching it for six years and we wanted to get some help getting back in gear. we do want to participate in tournaments but don't know how the whole system works. We live in the Seattle area which we noticed on the map didn't have many people on this website here.... :\ so any help would be much appreciated. Cute

Corrected, welcome to the WBO
Welcome to the WBO Smile

We've actually been trying to get some tournaments going in the U.S. There hasn't been much going on for quite a while now. You could try to get a few more people in Seattle (and surrounding areas) to join to the WBO. Beyblade: Metal Fusion will be released in the U.S. (the show actually premieres tomorrow) very soon, so I guess you could expect more members from there to appear.
Welcome!
Thanks guys for the explanation and the warm welcome Joyful_2 we will see who we can get here in Seattle to join the WBO but no promises. We heard about the new metal fusion and it looks cool but it kinda disappointed us because we are more into the original beyblading like Vforce series beyblades Wink we are going to try and get a metal fusion at one point though. are people still even aloud to use the originals anymore in tournaments??

thank you!!

There are four tournament formats in WBO Organized Play; the Plastic Format, HMS Format, Standard Format (MFB/BMF) and Open Format (all 3 systems; Plastic, HMS & MFB). MFB is the standard and is the current system, so that is what most people use, but if someone wanted to host a tournament using the Plastic Format, then they could.

I wonder who would attempt that...
