Our rule is that we can't call dibs on stuff being sold by members here. As for the dibs system, you help other members and they help you. It's certainly not a binding rule but it's not going to win you any friends here if you brag about this.

If you'd notice, all of us place dibs on stuff we want, including myself ... there is no official rule on it, it's just sort of a mutual understanding.
