So, it has been announced December 17th on their Facebook page that YoYoJam, an American manufacturer of high performance yo-yos, is shutting its doors after 17 years in operation. Why? Because its founder and owner, Dale Bell, has had health problems over the last several years, and he's decided that it's time that he retired.
Since the late 1990s, YoYoJam has made some of the finest yo-yos on the market, and had innovated yo-yo design with their composite-material yo-yo, the SpinFaktor, which is plastic with metal rings on the rims. They had also made some great offstring (4A) yo-yos over the years, such as the Aquarius, the Fiesta series, and the Rextreme.
