Where The Wild Things Are

Heard the same thing from a lot of reviewers, especially with the way that each of the wild things mirrors an aspect of max's personality at the time he travels to their world.
Distrust, anger, a sense of belonging, a longing for friendship.etc
Then again, even the original book had the same kind of feel to it.
Sendak always talked to children as if they were people, not 'just kids'.
Where The Wild Things Are...I love that title.

You guys don't even want to know what it is in french, it's the complete opposite...
.... Nowhere the Tame Non-existing things Aren't?
I've just checked out the site and the trailers, it looks great. Really want to catch it whenever it's out here.

Also a huge Yeah Yeah Yeahs fan, and had a good listen to the soundtrack on the site. :]
Some of the parts were so aimless and random that it became laughable, yet the overall mood of the story was very different.

I learned to refrain from spoilers. (read: sryboutDeathnote)

The movie was deep. real deep.

Got the soundtrack yesterday, absolutely amazing.
Really different the Karens work with the YYY's, but it's really refreshing.
Love "Food is Still Hot" Smile
