What was wrong with the classic Hasbro stadiums?

I'm kind of new new to the scene and I was just wondering what was up with the classic Hasbro stadiums. They always seemed better in my childhood, as the blades still had big hits but it meant attack types didn't destroy bad defense or endurance ones, as they only rebounded off the sides with a severe reduction in speed. This helped to make all types of beyblade viable.

Thanks

(The claims made in this post are my shaky opinions and can be swayed/corrected, as I don't think they are entirely correct.)

So you could tell him what to do instead ...

TheNewerBakery, you should post opinions like that in the Beyblade Random Thoughts topic.
