You mean the burst beys, I assume, because metal fight was basically a slightly more rounded-off version of X, and if it is burst you're referring to, then you have a point. I think both are equally cool, but having the entire bey be designed after the motif instead of just the lock chip and a few metal details certainly made it easier to make cool designs.

Beyblade X is cool, but some of the older Bey designs definitely had more unique and creative looks. Everyone has different favorites though.
