I could also say that your game program should be able to export in a format that is Mac compatible. There are lots of Mac programs that don't work on Windows that I couldn't do without.

Your right -.-. They've only done Vista so far, I thought they were planning MAC support but I guess they haven't done it yet.
You can install Windows on a Mac, so it's not a big deal.

Is that edited or is that what it actually looks like?
IMO you shoudn't have bit beasts/special moves. They just make it boring the dude with the strongest beast always wins. It should be more strategic. Also will you have HMS / MFB?
Plastics only probably. And if I add bitbeasts/special moves I would make it so that there is only a slight change. I'll be scrapping the engine I've got for the battles just because its extremely hard to work with and I won't be able to keep the current style, anyway, since I can't find all the beyblades overhead pics. The engine I had before was only slightly different anyway, and didn't have all the annoying, extra codes this guy put in his.
so, is it going on good? because i feel that u forgot about it.
we r still waiting for it just to let u know Wink
sorry, had to put it on hold this week , ive been busy with school, had to study alot for big tests, but its over now, ill probably be doing work on it this weekend, once im done writing up the beywiki articles.
You should make the story go up to when tyson vs kai in g-revolution.
I saying this because BEGA sprites are like so hard to get and make!
yow what happened with the game?
did you forget about it?
It needs a storyline. Put us vs. Nelvana. Story line:

Nelvana tries is trying to take over the world because ____corny reason here___ using spinning tops (Hasbro blades). A group of kids (us) get a hold of their prototype Beys (Takara blades) and turn their own creation against them. In an epic battle of Ripping vs. Shooting, who will win?

Make the story line incredibly lame, but with a ton of inside jokes - just for us. Wink

Main Character should be a no-name character. Brad should be the leader of the group (obviously). Anubis should be like, the spy/genius guy that always gets a hold of the parts we need. Azuma is the mysterious man we never see or hear - he just helps us. Rocky should be like, your partner since she's always helpful and awesome. You know, like whenever you play a video game there's always that character that gives the tutorials? That'd be Rocky since she's really the type to explain it best. ;3

The Bladebreakers would be the main enemy, obviously. The opening tutorial battle should be some kid with a Black Dranzer who thinks he's unbeatable.

If you manage to accomplish ANY of that, I'll be highly impressed.
Wow. That sounds really cool Dei! Haha, can I do something?

Those were just examples. Gasp

We'll just be like, party members or w/e. Uncertain

Pichu, can I help with character design? Grin
I would seriously buy this game.

Yes, definitely. I'm about to scrap everything I did and use that. Seriously. XD
I need to then make custom character sprites, though. Eh, it'll be worth it.

Ever played "The World Ends with You"? You should make the character cut screens like that. We can even do our own voice acting to say small phrases like "go shoot!", "nooooooo!", "Let's Battle", etc.

Actually, it would be a cool idea if we all pitched in to do this. I can do character design for the cut scenes. We could break it up into jobs:
  • Cut Scene Artist
  • Sprite Design
  • Music Composer
  • Backgrounds
  • Battle Programming
  • Storyline
  • Beyblade Creation
  • Battle Variables
  • Field Coordinator (moving around)

And anything else I didn't list. We're all pretty creative, right? It's up to you, of course. I'm all up for "the more the merrier" idea. :o

Hell, maybe if we get REALLY good, we can turn this into some kind of MMO. xD

i'll do beyblade creation
This would be awesome. Making it a sort of community project. I don't know the more complex GML coding and how that works so it could sure help me out.
Also, I haven't played the game, but I'll go search it real quick. Anyway, you just got me motivated again.
I'm adding music composer to that list. We need a scene where they play the dub theme song or that rap carp as a means of torture to the WBO players.
I could be able to do music as well as spriting if we stay with the G-rev style. I already did some spriting in that style myself. I can somewhat program in GML (nothing complicated, though), so I could help if we still use that.
i might be able to do blade design not too sure now
What I would do is take a sprite sheet (Megaman sprites are generally good) and use it as a base set.

We need to decide who will be in the game. I think you should change the thread title to something more catchy like "WBO vs. Hasbro/Nelvana RPG - claim your job!"

And then anybody who volunteers gets a role. It's only fair. Only I think Rocky, Anubis, and Brad should be in there regardless. :o Rocky's definitely going to be the tutorial guide/person that explains everything, Brad's the leader because...he is? And Anubis is like, some kind of technician/general 'cause he's one of our strongest and most knowledgable Beybladers.
Should I just make a new topic? And why megaman as a base? Isn't that like side-view?

Maybe. I think at this point, it should be in "Your Creations" at least.

*shrugs* I didn't know what style you were going for. I haven't checked the newer games, either.
