Vocaloid Fandum

I ain't got any Vocaloid stuff, but I enjoy the songs and the character design.

I actually bought a Miku costume in Tales of Graces F. It looks great, too!
I'm a bit of a fan of the Vocaloids. I've been trying to find a place to watch the Miku concert, instead of just a few clips on youtube. It's got some impressive tech going in it.

i hear you can get the 39's day concert on blu-ray at Ebay (dont recommend though) but mostly amazon. i think they also have it on animecornerstore.com, j-list.com (under 18 go to j-box) and hlj.com/anime and rightstuf.com. i have a bigger jist that amazon gots it. dont know the price prob over $30
i think the dvd has behind the sceans (i dont know how) music to download and some more awesome stuff
forgot to say what Vocaloid stuff i got, i got a Really cute Hatsune Miku plush. a Kagamine Len Pullback car. and the pullback cars for Luka, Miku and Rin. I also got the Miku Hatsune soundtracks Impacts and Memories. Two posters that came with the soundtracks and two Miku accesories. a necklace with a plastic Leek at the end of it and and, not sure if its a cellphone charm but its in the shape of a music note. the one seen on some Hatsune music vids. the back of the charm has the Chibi Miku holding a leek like in the Levan Polkka. and more stuff to get within time. (and money xD)
I have a secret addiction to vocaloid and secret crush on Miku...

dude im in LOVE with Miku like literally in LOVE. nothing wrong with that shes cute, beutifull, and awesome
AWESOME. my anime store just got in a Megurine Luka NENDROID. it was cool looking. While speaking of Luka, my Favorite Megurine Luka song is Luka Luka Night Fever. Sounds catchy, like the speed of the song, and i have to move to it. stays in my head forever. the NENDROID was sold in 3 days. and costed $50. better than $100 when getting it on the internet. My friend that works there says they will get more NENDROIDS.

Iv seen this topic isnt very famous or people are not replying. come on talk about anything Vocaloid. not just Miku.
i fin love len kagamine & i love vocaloid im going to nyaf 2 see there concert & i love the song butterfly on your right shoulder <3

yeah that song is awesomeness. like how you got the lyrics in your sig, really nice. as you can tell i love Miku. the song i love is Romeo and Cinderella. did you know that Butterfly on your right shoulder is also sung by Rin. shes backup.
Me and my not-on-the-WBO friends absolutely love Vocaloid!! Joyful_3. In fact we are cosplaying them in their Sandplay Singing of the Dragon costumes. I'm Len lol (Almost became Rin...) And some of my favorites would be Fire Flower and Migikata no Chou and World is Mine (Along with the sequel Oshiete Ageru...even though Miku doesn't sing it. )
I actually find most of Gakupo's songs to be my style of singing. I guess it's because he's based off of Gackt, and I have a bit of a "Visual Kei" style of singing when I sing Japanese songs.
Unlucky oh how awesome. imma one day cosplay as Kaito or Mikuo. mostly Mikuo because i love Miku like a sis.

Kaji yes i can understand your reasons. can ya post some of his songs. i need to get more into Gakupo. i only know like 3 songs by him.

@everyone XD i just bought the Luka Megurine Figma, the one with the mic stand. so awesome. i make poses and all that everyday. i take pics of them too.

quick subtopic: what song has brought you to tears. name all. for me its been
~Dissapearence of Hatsune Miku/Dead End
~Kokoro
And
~ Servant of Evil

the biggest one is Dead End. TT-TT
ive recently bought another Miku plush, and the Luka Figma. thats about all. oh and i got a lot of new songs from Rin and Len and Luka, of course Miku, downloaded. listen to them everyday. :3

I'm currently working on singing this one with a bunch of other guys. I have to sound "sexy", but I sound like HYDE from L'Arc~en~Ciel~ <3

Just a quick bit of info here. My costume making friends hate me now so I'm not cosplaying as Len anymore. Instead, I'll get another costume making friend to make me a Pikachu jacket. I also found out that i LOVE Time Machine now and Miku's Dark append sounds so human. I wonder how Vocaloid 3 and Miku's supposed English voicebank will be...
And Hirari, hirari and Servant of Evil nearly brought me to tears. The Dark Wood Circus series is disturbing....
their are already Vocaloid 3 out (i think) and yes Miku's Dark Append does sound more human. but its just a some what, well dark tone of voice. oh yeah check this out Grin

already Grin so exciting
thanks for sharing the links here! thanks a lot...
The thing I like about Vocaloid songs is that it gives you things to sing. And they're always growing. Compared to some J-POP stuff, Vocaloid songs never seem to end, even though there's so much J-POP you can take a stab at.

Even more so that the singers are computers, adding your own voice gives it a bit of creativity.
Vocaloid fandom terrifies me and I can't stand the music, but some of the character designs are pretty rad for cosplay.
I know of Vocaloid stuff like Miku, and Black Rock Shooter or whatever, but what is it really? Like just female Microsoft Sam in Japanese to music?

Edit: Wikipedia tells me it's a voice synth, so I guess the answer is yes. King of a bizarre thing to be interested in (says the guy who listens to Genki Rockets)...
You'll be surprised. There are also English Vocaloids, too, but most of it is recognized by and made in Japan. Stuff like Hatsune Miku, Kagamine Rin and Len, etc. are the ICONS of Vocaloids, even though they weren't made first (They're the second gen. Vocaloids, the first being Leon, someone else that starts with an L, Kaito, and Meiko).

But yeah, the fanbase is mondo annoying. I prefer singing their songs, not idolizing the damn characters. I mean, the voice-lenders don't get as much recognition as they do...
hello again sorry i have been busy for a long....long....time. Well i am sorry. anyway... Yes the Vocaloids themselves are known. But in Japan they d make the writers and composers famous as well. There concerts are making huge hits with sold outs and fanbase. The games are huge hits as well. With videos of the songs and such related business hitting 1m in less than a week now.

Updates on my mercandise: Project DIVA 2nd

ah and as to explaining who the Vocaloids are.....im sorry..ive said it to people so many times im irritated of explaining ^^" hopefully you guys find your roots.
I recently took a stab at Hatsune Miku's "Celluloid". Came out a lot better than I originally expected.

Next, I gotta try Len's "Servant of Evil".
Ah yes, though make sure to also listen to Daughter of Evil and Re_Birthday the story of evil is amazing.
