[Unanswered]  Might get back into Beyblade, where do I start with Beyblade X and its current meta

Yeah, I haven’t been into Beyblade in 2 years, but with the new-ish, not that recent advent of X, my interest has been piqued yet again. So where do I start with the X metagame? It’s still in its nascent stages, and the second layer system or “Line” in X has been released. I also want to know how current X Beys stack up to Burst ones…

by the way, on a side note: I got embarrassed looking at my old posts with carp grammar. But then again, I was 12, a rambunctious, annoying, and borderline moronic carping 7th grader

Welcome back! Some meta beys are Whale Wave, Wizard Rod, Phoenix Wing, Cobalt Dragoon, Sliver Wolf, Dran Buster, TyrannoBeat, Aero Pegasus, Cobalt Drake, Shark Edge, Leon Crest. beybxdb.com is a great place to learn about the Meta or just about X in general and is always fairly up to date. We are starting to come out of the nascent stage as we are getting more gimmicky beys and have recently gotten left spin and are going to be getting rubber by the end of the month. Could you eleborate on what you meant by "stack up" just a bit confused my bad.

For the side note. Totally relatable. I think we all used to be like that haha! Anywho please feel free to PM me if you have any other questions for Beyblade! I'd be happy to answer and help you get back into Beyblade!

Edit: A great place to start would probably be BX-07 Start Dash Set or BX-17 Battle Entry Set or Hasbro's Beyblade X Xtreme Battle Set (Hasbro's quality is now identical to TT's quality. Besides the QR code on Hasbro's you can't tell em apart.
Thanks dude, you’re a real help for informing me about the meta Beys for this generation. Also, by “stack up”, I meant how X Beys fare in comparison to Burst Beys in battle, and I’m sorry about being vague, I should have specified that I wanted to see how X Beys stack up to Burst Beys from Cho-Z onwards. Also, since we finally have left-spin and are getting rubber in due time, the first overly-spammed Stamina combo is here! And that’s great that Hasbro’s quality is equal to TT’s so far, and I hope that equality endures as more gimmicky Beys are released. I also have heard about a rubber flat Bit that was released recently, “Rubber Accel” was it? Attack combos now can maintain banking patterns more effectively with the advent of this Bit, I would assume.

We....we don't talk about Rubber Accel... Anyway though yeah, Rubber Accel isn't the best Bit sadily with the way its made it loses WAY to much stamina after an Xtreme Dash. It's definitely fun but doesn't seem to be completely viable.
That’s fair, the Xtreme Dash gimmick makes stamina ever more important in this day and age.

Yeah, with the way RA is built it rides above the Xtreme Line so the rubber part isn't touching the ground which lets the bit last longer and not wear down so fast. but because of that, when it finishes its Xtreme, its stamina gets heavily tanked from the friction of the rubber hitting the stadium.
That makes it basically useless in competitive play at that point. This generation is probably the worst generation for rubber tips
Sadily unless they do something different it looks like that will be the case

Edit: Samurai Saber also seems to be meta currently. Forgot to add that.
It’s sad for me because rubber drivers were my favorite in Burst… Unhappy

Maybe metal flat tips can actually be meta in this generation….

Me 2 i hope you can grow in beyblade and sometime battle me Grin
Thanks, and yeah, I’d be down for a battle, if there’s any NYC area tournaments…

NYC has tournaments often I think.
Surprisingly not. Last time I checked, most tournaments are held around the DC Metro, as far as I know, or Chicago. It’s so inconvienient because I’m literally a 15 year old 10th grader and I can’t just travel to DC or Chicago by myself from NYC via Amtrak. That would get me grounded until I’m 17 and graduate high school..
Here's the plan...
When I talked to volnutt you can just have a possible aunt/uncle take you or a cousin if they consist of the legal limit of guardian.
