I recently just got an emperor might Beyblade and have my first tournament. I heard it was on of the best beys for early on but for some reason it keeps bursting too easily. Any tips?

Operate(the rachet-integrated-bit) had bad burst resistance, but stamina mode is ok, but attack mode is TRASH-what other parts do u have in your collection?
the Ratchet/Bit on Emperor Might has terrible burst resistance, as are any other Ratchet+Bit fusions. The use of Emperor Might is for the Lock Chip and Assist Blade, because they increase the weight of the bey. The other parts aren't that good.
The ratchet integrated bit operate has terrible burst resistance, though if u were using attack mode, it would be even easier for someone else to burst u, as u probably got it from the deck set, just run 5-60fb and you should be good to go and shouldn’t burst too often at all

the Might main blade is pretty good too it’s pretty round but not as round as Rod so it can be used as a pretty solid attacker with higher recoil than Rod while still being controlled q

yes, but it's not as relevant as the Heavy assist blade and Emperor Lock Chip

it gets completely outclassed by those 2 tho
And blast (in my opinion) is in a different league when it comes to main blades
