My country doesn’t have official tournaments and I’d love to get it started, what’s some advice other than becoming an organizer

See who else is interested for developing a local scene. Work with them for getting resources together like finding a location to play, or making group purchases online for sets. If you have a hobby shop (like a place where board or card games are played, or model kits are built and used) nearby, you can ask to see if they would allow you to have meetups or events there, and possibly also help you purchase things.
Once you do have the resources to get a scene going, it helps to be vocal about it online. Once you play in person the game will attract people because of the nose and visual aspect, and having an online presence can also help alert people who may be interested but weren't in the know. A space for your regular players/friends to discuss stuff is good as well.
