Many people say that almost all BX Beyblade releases are trash. I can see why, literally no BX Bey other than Cobalt Dragoon is meta but that's only because CD's blade is left spin. If it was right spin, it'd be really bad. I've been doing some testing over the weekend, and I found some good BX Beys. All the VIP Combos of the BX beys listed here have at least a 50%-win rate on Wizard Rod 1-60 Hexa out of 100 battles.

Tyranno Beat (VIP Combo: 1-60 Rush)
Unicorn Sting (VIP Combo: 1-50 Point)
Phoenix Wing (VIP Combo: 3-60 Rush)


These are all of the builds I have tested as of now. Do you guys have any other good BX bey builds? Will Dran Strike bring them back? Or are they past saving and UX beys will continue to dominate?

Not all are bad, most are just mid, almost all the new meta now comes from UX

Not actually trash, rather, its overlooked. Dran Sword which was the first release is not that bad. Tricera Press is also decent, its one of the heaviest BX beys. It is a good defense against attacking bey

DranStrike might change the outcome of BX Beys. It's because DranStrike has a good central weight distribution. UX Beys are good because of the outward weight distribution. We'll just see how will DranStrike come out later in its release.

Inward Weight Distro is not what is going to make Strike good. Its the fact that it has a pretty good shape and is 41 grams.

That being said, BX as a whole is fine™. A lot of the blades are outclassed at the moment but many are far from unusable.

BX was the very first line and is still getting new releases to this day, so by virtue of starting off at the bottom of the power scale and sheer release numbers; BX has the most mediocre and bad releases overall. Leon Claw, Rhino Horn, Wyvern Gale, Sphinx Cowl, Shelter Drake... and those are just the worst offenders. The closest competitor for the title of "worst X line" is inarguably CX, but even then it's moreso just underwhelming releases when compared to UX instead of actively terrible.

what about phoenix wing is that's still meta or am I just not keeping up?

I'm pretty sure it was common knowledge that TyrannoBeat and PhoenixWing were still good.

Well, they’re good especially soar phoenix and cobalt dragoon, but ux kinda steals the show when is comes to meta
